Sorry, I thought my initial post was pretty clear that ATD was part of the raybestos line. Guess not.

Wheres your best spot thats decently priced in Vancouver or Burnaby to get transmission servicing done? Also, brake servicing and and need my power steering done as well. Preferably a place that does all of these well but im also willing to go to different shops if they charge less and do a good job.

Thanks

been on my mind a while now.

why do people from the states (mainly California) go to Mexico to speed or drag race, etc?

Are the laws in Mexico more lax?

asking because I genuinely wanna know. I see tons of people posting videos on YouTube and IG saying "speed run in Mexico" and I think to myself..."aren't they just incriminating themselves with video evidence?"

TIA

probably because nobody gets extradited to Mexico for driving offence. They got bigger problems on their hands

I've seen people from all over the place do that, they're never actually in Mexico. I'm assuming it's just a joke to avoid admitting they did it in Canada or the US.

Manic! 07-17-2017 05:34 PM

It's just a joke to cover there asses they are never in Mexico.

I forgot to turn on my Shazam when I heard this song.
It starts with the sound of a slow helicoptor blade and then it gets faster and then its like techno music.

What is this song?

I came home in the evening after work and found dead (big) ants all over my walkway

WTF happened?? Did the concrete get too hot and they just cooked themselves to death ? Has this happened to anyone else before?

About two years ago, I witnessed something similar, but with flies.

6o4__boi 07-20-2017 12:30 PM

Are those the flying ants?
There's usually that one random day of the summer where they're everywhere in my neighbourhood. The next day there's usually a bunch of dead ones all over the place.

mikemhg 07-20-2017 12:39 PM

^ Happens every year, mating season.

AzNightmare 07-20-2017 02:12 PM

Don't think they fly. I saw them starting to crawl everywhere around my place about 2 days ago though. Honestly, I'm not sure...

More close up ant pictures:
Spoiler!

About two years ago, I witnessed something similar, but with flies.

Reminded me of when I was in my (boarding) high school. There was a time when we would see big suckers like these all the time. Naturally, we all kill them when they are spotted, but it was really out of hand regardless. We would find them all the time in the washroom and even hallways to the bedrooms. It was gross. We complained about it, but the school didn't seem to do much at the time.

Then we went on a short break, and when we came back, the ants were gone. I imagine that they either called pest control or just found the nest(s) and poured hot water into them.

Those ants are called carpenter ants. You have a nest somewhere on/near your property.

yray 07-22-2017 02:57 PM

automall was full of them last week
