my life is a fucking lie |
That's okay, I was told that when I was a kid. Yes, they had cars back then. Hell, there were cars when Fred Flintstone was around. |
we've been over this many times MG1 horse-drawn carriages are not technically "cars" |

At least we didn't need a class 5, 6, 7 license. Hell, there wasn't even insurance back then. Changing tires......... I mean wheels, was a bit of a bitch, though. |
While it's a clear distinction now (and has been for probably around 100 years), car is literally the short form of carriage. |
Does anyone know if El Bastardo/tachycardia is alright? Being in Texas and all. Just concerned. I hope all is well with him. |

Chick is hot, so................ it was self defence, man. Good thing I'm not a judge, yah? Come to think of it, couldn't do any worse than the spineless, useless, boatload of judges we have here in BC. Just Saiyan. |

I had a credit card set up with preauthorized payments at my gym. The number changed on it a while back since I changed the card type, but the payments on it kept going through so I never bothered changing it. Two weeks ago, while I was on vacation, my monthly payment didn't go through (I'm guessing the card finally expired) and I received a few voicemails about changing it upon my return. I went in today and found out that the preauthorized payment card number changed to the replacement card's number and I was charged for the missing payment. Both me and my employees are not sure what's going on since a separate company (ABC Financial) handles the payments for them and I had not been to the gym or had I called ABC back to update my details. Now I don't have a problem with the payment since I was going to pay that regardless, but I do have an question about the integrity of my information, how they obtained it, and the legality of it all. I'm guessing that ABC somehow obtained my latest card number from either the bank or perhaps by obtaining a credit report? I thought preauthorized payments always needed consent from the card's owner? Every time I handle preauthorized payments at my work, it requires a signature, and my gym also required it when I updated my information today. A bit of a head scratcher, but perhaps someone can chime in. |
How abouts did you guys find Childcare for your kids? I'm starting to look around for a spot for my daughter for next September. She'll be 1 then. What did you look for? What are red flags? What do you ask them when you contact them? Any recommendations in the Tri-Cities/preferably PoCo area? |

Unlicensed = 1 - 2 kids licensed = 3 or more Rules for Operating a Licensed Day Care - Province of British Columbia some very sad news :okay: Operator of daycare where Baby Mac died broke law 3 times | CTV Vancouver News |
My daughter's Montessori daycare was $1280 for a full-time, infant, not potty trained. Fully secured, lots of staff and good curriculum. A few of our friends had their kids go there and were happy with it, so we took a tour, talked to the staff and haven't looked back. Yes, it's expensive but she was leaning lots of new things, kept active, interacting with other kids and kept on a schedule. |
huh, i never knew the unlicensed/licensed part i did find a website through Fraser Health that lists out locations as well as copies of their inspection and results i guess it's a matter of going through the list and making the visits when do they usually do intake? flip, was there a waitlist? |
There was at the time. I'll ask when I go later. Forgot to mention, they have 4 different classes - infant, 1.5-3, 3-4, 4-5 (all dependent on the kids development). So they're always with kids that are roughly at the same level. Obviously, as the kids get older, the cost goes down. |
https://cefa.ca/ I sent my daughter to Cefa Richmond from 3-4yr, and then we moved to Vancouver and switched to licensed daycare. Which we didn't like at all and ended up going back to Cefa(cambie location) after 6 months. Both Cefa locations were great. My co-worker also sends her kids there in Surrey, also loves it. It's more expensive than other daycares but they serve lunch. Price difference was about $400 per month, but it was totally worth it for me since I dont have to pack lunch and snack every morning. Plus, they give lot more learning activities to kids. |

Recently since summer began, I have been noticing a type of bug in the window at the front of the house. They have a hard shell and can fly. They are mainly chilling by the window or the blinds. Anyone know what kind of bugs these are and how to get rid of them? https://i.imgur.com/Zyj6BZq.jpg http://imgur.com/a/9QYSA.jpg |
