I would buy from monoprice, but I need them within a week and I'm not sure if monoprice can ship that fast. | You could check out Princess Auto in the Surplus section, maybe check the online catalogue first

Fire departments across GVRD are going to have their hands full for next few days because of these asshats with fireworks and firecrackers. WTF? I outgrew them in elementary school. These are not kids or teenagers, but adults. I guess nothing better to do?

Fireworks are fine if they're used properly. Firecrackers on the other hand... I thought those were illegal?

Firecrackers were a childhood staple for me around Halloween back in the 90's. Not going to lie if someone gave me a bunch I'd light them in my neighbourhood for the kids to see. Not to be delinquent, more for the nostalgia.
Side note - I'd be a lot more responsible with them today. It was pretty much a given someone's jacket or hoodie would get a hole in it from a stray bottle rocket back in the day

Hellz yeah mighty might wars and Roman candle fights.
if you take a hummeroo and smash it with a hammer, it makes a pretty decent little pipe bomb.
Oh and bottle rockets were much more fun when you snapped the stick off.
Man Halloween used to be my favorite holiday

Does anyone know of a place I can get a tire leak patched for cheap? Tri cities, Richmond or in between would work. I just put my winters on and noticed a leak

Is there a place to collectively find car mod deals? I'm preparing for the Black Friday season, but I'm interested in the smaller companies like raceseng

Help with putting a standard parking decal on windshield.
Maybe I'm over thinking it but I just installed a dashcam so now I can't hang my parking decal in its traditional spot because the cam blocks the decal so my only 2 options are to manually put it on my dash every day or to permanently stick it to the windshield.
Now at first I was just going to use some scotch tape but it got me thinking there has to be a better adhesive or way for me to do it. Or maybe scotch tape is fine and I'm overthinking it. Suggestions?

Shove it between the A pillar and the windshield. Compression may be enough to keep it in place.

A few years back, I had a friend who moved to Ontario for school. He said no one did the firecracker/firework thing during Halloween...
Is this some Vancouver exclusive thing? I wouldn't know any better, I was born and raised here.

According to this Vancity Buzz article from a few years ago, it's pretty common among most of our province? Or maybe just a few areas? How firecrackers and fireworks became a Vancouver Halloween tradition |

household LED bulbs are on sale at Canadian Tire right now.
$3 for a 2 pack. Making them $1.50 a piece and they're dimmable. Prior to that I've only seen $2 a piece for non-dimmable. Colour has been on par with the CFL's I replaced and no buzzing sounds. |

Never put any thought in to this until this morning. When it comes to zip codes are they shared by the block, individual house, street segment, or other?

Did someone mention Vancity Buzz/Daily Hive?
They dont know anything. They have the most moronic writers on their staff and most stupid articles Ive ever read in my life. I hate them lol. We dont need repeated opinion pieces on people using umbrellas in the snow. Jesus Christ, they make my blood boil.

Zip codes are used in the US, whereas Postal Codes are used in Canada.
Zip codes are 5 digits (some have plus 4).
Postal Codes are Alphanumeric - Letter, Number, Letter, Number, Letter.
So when you send a letter to Santa Claus, the address is Santa Claus, North Pole, Canada H0H0H0, not HOHOHO, G0L0L0. Actually, it is H0H 0H0.
To answer your question, there is only one place that has its own postal code, and that is Santa Claus' hangout. Everyone else shares their postal code with houses in their area. The first three digits represents the forward sortation area. The last three are for local delivery.
On a side note, since we're mentioning Santa Claus.................
Anytime you want to find out more about Santa Claus, go to the Willingdon Costco and speak to Leon. He's probably the best looking Santa Claus out there. His real name is Leon, but spell it backwards, and it's Noel.
Freaky, eh?
