i just switched from an android to an iPhone and would like to restore my whatsapp. from what i read, there is no easy way of doing it and a third party app would be required

Whatsapp backs up your chat to an email automatically every day at 2 or 3am. You can restore your account through there if you put your email in and it should restore to the last back up?

Settings > Chats > Chat Back up

I manually changed my back up settings to monthly because i dont care about maintaining chats lol. But i think default should be daily or weekly.

This only works from within the same OS. There's no real option to switch between Android to iOS.

I did see some 3rd party options searching through Google but they looked sketchy so I didn't end up using them.

Whatsapp backs up through Google drive on android and backs up through iCloud on iOS.

Odd they won't let you restore it via Google on iOS.

Oh shit i didnt know that LOL i switched from Iphone to android dec 2016 but whenever i switch i never restore. I just change my account phone number and just message everyone i talk to w the new # and theyd add me to whatever group chat i was in before.

There is some weird shit going down where groups of women are pushing the word of god lately in really bizarre spots, they have like a little kiosk they lug around and it’s alwyas 2-3 of them together. Sometimes it’s at bus stops etc but sometimes it’s nust like in the middle of a sidewalk where there is almost no foot traffic

Question for the locals here regarding the recent MJ laws, do you still need a medical card to purchase MJ or just to anyone over 19? I was walking downtown recently and saw vendors selling out in the open by the art gallery and i was pretty shocked by it.

(I was out of the country for almost two years so I'm not sure how the law is now)
