they got good reviews from google but my experience with them wasn't that great. they replaced my door completely and didn't do a good paint job around the mirror so i had to go back to them and wait another 2 days to fix a simple paint job. they somehow drained my battery and i couldn't start my car when i was driving away. possibly left my car turned on for some reason? and the craftsmanship around the edges of my window wasn't great either. could just be a one off? hope this helps a bit.

If you don’t have pets, I found sugar and borax with a little water mix helped to get rid of the ants.

I got an email from Acura handing out a code for loyalty discount which is applicable ON TOP of any offers for an ILX

$1000+2% rate deduction and some shit in fine print that I didn't bother to read.

If it can help anyone, PM me. I have no need for it.

wherelse would i find headrails for vertical blinds? i need custom sizes. I've been to the major stores. (lowes, homedepot..etc.) just looking for alternatives and better prices. even decent used ones might work. just headrails.

i just feel like i can save more if i build it myself rather than buying the complete set in a package. thanks in advance.

What do you all make of the accusations against Justin Trudeau of him 20 years ago for groping a reporter and his approach?

Preferential treatment for the elite?

20 years ago, standards were different?

It wasn't a position of power thing?

An apology the day after was sufficient for the offense committed?

Some other explanation?

I've got some running around to do today. But let me see if i can find the number later on for the guy we used. Out in Surrey. Very very reasonable

Edit: my apologies. Was hoping the wife had his number saved. Unfortunately not.

I'm going to preface my response by saying that I dislike Trudeau. I didn't vote for him, I don't like him, and as much I want to laugh at how his smug "it's 2017" attitude is biting him in the ass....

What is happening to him makes me upset. I don't think anybody, even someone I disagree with as much as Trudeau, should be vilified in the court of public opinion and made to look like a monster over allegations that have not yet been substantiated. Especially over something that happened 20 years ago. I don't remember things I did 5 years ago, let alone 20. If someone tells me convincingly enough that I did X or Y, 20 years ago, I'd probably just agree, or say it never happened. Which would screw Trudeau over regardless of which way he answers.

I think of how the mere allegations against Patrick Brown lost him the PC race here in Ontario and it makes me scared. To this day, as far as I know the allegations have not yet been proven. But Brown's career is effectively kaput.

It makes me scared that anyone can just make allegations against someone and pretty much nuke their entire career, especially against higher-level people in both the private and public sectors.

And it seems to only target men. So I guess my answer is, even though I personally despise Trudeau, as a fellow male who worries about the way society is going these days, I think he should be given the benefit of the doubt and seen as innocent until the allegations against him are proven.

^^while i do agree the climate is getting pretty ridiculous, i think as many people are bothered by the hypocrisy as they are the actual allegations.

But hypocrisy would only exist if it was proven Trudeau did something wrong.

For example, I think car thieves are the scum of the earth. I think that car theft should be given tougher mandatory minimum sentences in court.

If you made a completely unfounded accusation that I stole your car 20 years ago with zero evidence to reinforce your claim, does that make me a hypocrite?

"sexual harassment is a systemic problem" and "when women speak up, we have a responsibility to listen to them and to believe them"

OK, this is getting a bit ridculous. So Scarlett Johanson got pressured into not doing a role in which she plays a trans man. Apparently because of backlash that there are lots of trans actors that they could have picked.

Last I thought was ... this is acting! So many straight people played gay in movies in the last 5 years. Strategy has always been get the best actor/actress with the biggest name to attract movie goers. PC gone too far, calm it down SJWs!

To be quite frank, I think the whole political correctness has gone too far.

I'm good with movements like #MeToo as it's doing the justice that these women deserve.

However, I'm tired of people trying to make a point on the slightest thing. A business serving women refuse to serve trans is discrimination, a bakery refusing to make cake for LGBT is discrimination... so on...

I mean, where does it end? We as a society need to educate our future generations about the meaning of these words and actions... and MOST IMPORTANTLY, why they became inappropriate. It's the motivation to use these words/phrases in an attempt to devalue or undermine a group of people in our society that's wrong... not the words. Just because a person never use any racial slur doesn't mean he/she isn't racist. In fact, it's such a hypocrisy.

We pretend discrimination doesn't exist because no one talks/act about it anymore?! More focus need to be on the preventative side rather than the conviction side.

Just drove by along Nanaimo St by Parker St tonight around midnight.

Saw three cop cars with siren lights flashing stopped right behind a silver Skyline R34.
Not sure if it was a GTR but it had the rear spoiler.

Anyone on here? Didn't get a look at the driver or anyone else.

Gay people have played straight people. If the actors have to actually be the people in the roles isn't everything going to have to be a documentary from now on?

Damn, stroopwaffles at Costco. Nice large ones, too. Perfect for cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The ones from Safeway and Trader Joes are much too small............

Anyone tried the Aussie BBQ & Egg burger at McDicks? How was it?

I had one last Friday. It was decent. Was it worth the $10 for the meal? Maybe not. It's essentially a cheeseburger with the egg from an egg mc muffin...and well literally tastes like that.

Being a former Aussie, it doesn't really taste like burgers in Australia. They certainly don't use "beetroot chips" but rather actual beetroots (either fresh or canned variety) and straight up BBQ sauce and not the weird creamy BBQ they use here.

I honestly prefer the Pawer burger at Veras for a better representation of an Aussie style burger.

Any suggestions on non-particle table tops vs wood table tops. Can't seem to find any good deals other than ikea for like a particle table top. Will be mounting it on a standing / sitting desk for work / school.

ray666 07-22-2018 01:29 PM

^^^^
Bought this to building my own "custom" desk.

this kitchen counter is very common for people to use to build their own. You can also cut it down if it's too long.

Anyone know roughly how long it takes ICBC to send out a renewal drivers license?
