What subordinate said. I know people always say it's so easy just do it yourself and changing a battery is as easy as it gets.

Fliptuner. He probably has the battery for your car and might even install it for you. Ask him before buying new to save some money.

Hey guys,

I have a ring I need resized down from an 8 to a 7.5.
Does anyone have a go to or a trust worthy person / shop they can recommend?
I know I can go into any Ben Moss, etc. but like any other service, I'd rather go with one that is reputed and people have had good experiences with.

Not a fancy diamond ring or anything, just a $200 ring that has sentimental value. Sterling Silver material.

Thanks all

Is there anywhere near West Van that can do a PPI on a 2014 BMW on the weekend?

Trio Diamond & Gold Jewellery on Kingsway across the street from Metrotown.
I went there to get a gold ring resized last year.

Is Vancouver Velocity Cars still a shady import dealership or has their reputation improved over the years?

I don't know about now but they were a supremely crappy dealership at their old location.

I will say though when I drive by their new location is that it doesn't look very inviting. I feel like they have waaaaay too much inventory and most of it collects dust, probably because their prices are so high. Oh but they offer financing. Yes, let's finance a 20+ year old vehicle in questionable condition and get an extended warranty for extra $$$ on top.

I wouldn't go there. Not sure if they still try to sue people to talk negatively about them.

Maybe import a hybrid from Japan (although right hand steering) or possible CNG conversion.

Gas prices going up.................

Me don’t care. I drive an electric vehicle. I do have gas vehicle, but I only drive it to go down to Bellingham. Funny when every car with BC plates have like 6 jerry cans while I only fill up the tank with 20 bucks worth of gas. I’ve gone down to Bellingham with the electric, but the range on my EV is not quite high enough. Waiting for the new Leaf that does like 250 kms on a single charge. I’m also not a fan of Tesla. Anyway................

Three hours ago I sent two e-transfers to the same person, one after the other (I needed them separate for record keeping), with phone text notification. My account shows the transfers and my balance reflects the withdraws. Apparently the first transfer text hasn't arrived, while the second one has. We are both with RBC and both with Freedom Mobile. Has anyone had this issue and was it due to the bank or phone service? Just wondering which company I should call first during my lunch break with the best chance of resolving this.

I gassed up $1.34 at Chevron, no need to line up Langley Costco, many places are same price as Costco.
Is Langley carbon taxed?

200th X 72nd - two gas stations in I drive past every morning/after work.
5:30am this morning:

Esso - 1.40
PetroCan directly across the street - 1.65

How the hell do you have a 25c difference in gas from two stations directly across from each other?!?!?!

In a few hours they'll both probably be at 1.50ish... but still... 25c difference!

I tend to fill up at the Esso on Langley bypass X Glover rd. It's usually the cheapest one around me by a long shot! I'll check gasbuddy and an Esso a few km away with be in the 1.50's while this ones sitting pretty around 1.39ish

Both currently showing $1.39 while everywhere else is $1.50+

Anyone else watch Jeopardy, on a regular basis? The current, 4 day champ, a sports gambler, is pretty exciting to watch. No hesitation to bet everything, even with a massive lead.

Is this a cricket? Fucker was under my computer desk at home. Not sure how it got in but holy shit do they move fast. Also don't know how long it's been inside my home but I never heard chirping which made me wonder if it's something related.

Yea 110k in one round is absolutely insane.

In the champions tourney with Jennings etc 35k rounds were unbelievably impressive lol

Just what I need. A pregnant insect in my 675 sq ft closet. Antennae that look like whips :ohgodwhy:

I wonder where this potpourri of inconsequential lifeforms will disperse to once the wrecking ball comes floating in...
