In short, a bunch of Richmond residences complaining/opposing the city in spending 15K to paint sidewalk to promote pride/LGBTQ.

I hate rainbow (or any non-standard) crosswalks not because I’m anti-LGBTQ, but because it’s supposed to be a standardized road marking for public safety.

Fly a rainbow flag, paint a mural, etc. Don’t politicize safety devices.

I've known this for over a year, but never thought too much about it. Each time I go to get it, I see so many people with the, "WTF?" reaction. I know Amazon flex ship is not available in Canada,
But just saw a unmarked car, backseat full of Amazon boxes, making dropoffs around my neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.

That's the norm now. I get amazon packages every few days and have not see a marked Amazon van in a year. It's been a mix of uhaul daily rentals vans or unmarked civilian vehicles.

I'm not usually at home o receive my Amazon parcels, so i'm not aware any major change. Most of mine are still delivered by Canada Post and Purolator. Actually, nevermind that. I think i've received packages in late evening (for their "delivered by 9PM" promise) from people in hi-vis vests and unmarked civilian cars.

But one evening, a lady in an unmarked Rogue (and no vest) came by and dropped off my parcel... it turned out she lives in the neighbourhood and Canada Post erroneously delivered to her house. Canada Post is still a joke sometimes, eh
