Another organization not welcomed ... Pride not very inclusive after all, are they?

I inherited a box of things from my grandfather and in the box is his old lighter from the 1950's. I can't find a flint that fits it (tried a zippo flint and salvaged a flint from another zippo style lighter to no avail).

Does anyone know of a place where someone can help me fix it?

It's becoming increasingly difficult for any sane person to find virtue in this cause.
Mind you, sanity seems a quality too deep in season these days.

I'll be interested to see the outcome of this case of inclusion and tolerance:

Not going to talk about the discrimination part, but if subjectively, a) a business has the right to reject service. b) if a massage is being done, the masseuse has the right to deny if a client is not welcomed / he or she doesn't feel comfortable (no different if a female doesn't want a male masseuse) c) if a person has no experience, he/she has right to deny service. A car dealership has to right to cancel a job if they don't have to training to do the work.

There are some grey areas of course.

Not sure how Vancouver compares but from what I've seen in other cities, pride parades are just an orgy of repulsive human behaviour. Men walking around with their dicks out like Harambe was there, woman grinding everything, including the air and now I see kids walking around in drag. Plenty of gay people who are disgusted over how the shift as well. Could still have a fun party vibe without the live porn...

I'd be glad to be banned from participating in anything where that shit is happening. I feel like I'd get an STI just breathing the same air.

Check out what this "transgender woman" is proposing in Langley... yes the source article is a highly conservative rag, but the facts are still present and deplorable. This man (yes I said it) is nothing but a pedophile purporting to be a transgender woman to gain access to little girls.

Almost as if there's some sort of connection between the categorization of people into protected classes and abhorrent behavior.

There are many countries who celebrate pride in a respectful manner. Oddly enough, those same countries don't typically foist homosexuality to the public. Or transgenderism. Or racial bias'. Or sexism.
You get the picture

Random thought sitting at home by the PNE, the sounds of the fireworks are loud af here like a deep bass thud for explosions etc. how loud and forceful they feel this far away it must be absolutely terrifying to be in a war zone where guns and rockets and shit are going off

2 things:

1) Several speed cameras & red light cameras are activated as of today. I'm not sure which ones are in surrey/vancouver but all 3 in Burnaby are active.
Locations:
Kingsway at Boundary Road
Kingsway at Royal Oak Avenue
Willingdon at Deer Lake

2) How long do cars stay on the side of the highway? I've seen a car pulled off on the shoulder for days now without being towed. How do they not get towed the day of??? Baffles my mind..

How do we report these, non-emergency line?

GS8 07-29-2019 08:28 PM

About that story regarding 4 people killed in Markham, ON.

Man, this AAA certified turd right here...

Dropped out of college and rather than fess up to his family, he continued to lie and then decided to murder them because he himself fears death. I can't even begin to wrap my head around this

Don't know. It's gotta be getting close to a week that it's been sitting there now. Gold Thunderbird sitting in the westbound shoulder. I can't remember if it was just east of Kensington or Gaglardi. Where the hell are the owners of it??

In Kelowna some nutcase was going around loosening peoples wheel nuts at night. Either they moved or some other guy has the same idea?

Huh. Yea we had a truck towed in last week whose wheel came off on the highway.
