is it legal for me to withdraw money from a customers credit card when they are ignoring my requests for payment?
customer has had invoices outstanding for 3-6 months, not a huge total, about $350, but there were some disputes with quality that we fixed and agreed to credit him for. I am going to give him a really fair amount in credit, and then withdraw the rest. I've sent him an email basically saying that I will withdraw the remainder after credit from his credit card that we have on file.
Usually we ask for authorization to withdraw the amount before just doing it, but he's basically ghosted us because as some of you guys may know, once a business relationship goes a bit bad, the customer no longer wants to pay for anything at all, even the stuff unrelated to the job in question... some people suck.

From what I learned at the bank while trying to set this up, you will need to have previous authorization to debit the amount. Typically, a one time authorization is fine. Otherwise, they can request a chargeback.

I love my Passport iX Radar Detector. It warns me of red light and, now, speed cameras. I drove from Burnaby to Abby to Mission and back and went through four speed cameras. Three of them I didn't even know of.
There are signs up warning people, but sometimes, you miss them. I think it's a great idea. The speed cameras, that is. I notice people slowing down at these high risk intersections.
Anyway...............

i dont wanna risk the 60k points i have... esso doesnt have aeroplan anymore
what local store, can i go to and buy something small and cheap and get some aeropoints?
do any gas stations use aeroplan anymore?
Here is a trick I use to extend my expiry date.
Sign up for an account on www.askingcanadians.com
Basically you fill out surveys and you earn some aeroplan points. I usually just fill one out whenever my points are about to expire and then its good for another year lol.

A vegan activist who rescued 16 rabbits from a farm in Spain may have caused the deaths of 100 more in the process.
'Mythical Mia', whose real name is unknown, posted a video to her social media after the alleged rabbit rescue mission, showing her apparently covered in blood.
She claimed she and fellow activists, who were on the farm for five minutes, were shot at by an angry mob when the rescue was made at the farm, near Osono in Catalonia, on September 1.
“I’m covered in blood. This is what the farmers have done," Mia says in the video.
"They shot through our window and chased us down the motorway. Oh my God, I’m literally covered in blood."
But Spanish newspaper La vanguardia, which cites a report from a local vet, says the activist's actions led to the deaths of about 90 baby bunnies, whose nursing mothers had been taken during the alleged mission.
The young rabbits had to be euthanised after the rescue.
Five pregnant rabbits were also reportedly killed during the mission and a number of others were left with broken spines.
Mia, who documented her alleged rescue on Instagram to her 40,000 followers, has now made the page private.
She provided an update following the alleged mission, saying she "had to leave thousands of mothers and babies behind".
At a summit for food of the future called Gastro Summit, Professor Söderlund held a talk called “Can you Imagine Eating Human Flesh?” where he argued "conservative" taboos against cannibalism should be broken down - the Epoch Times reports.
He suggests people's aversion to it could be overcome little by little, beginning with people just tasting it.
The seminar talking points include: “Are we humans too selfish to live sustainably? Is Cannibalism the solution to food sustainability in the future?
