I ended up selling my DSLR and all my lenses etc just because I never saw myself travelling with it anymore. Not only is it a burden to carry it’s a target dangling around your neck.
Most phone cameras have been good for a while but the 11 pro max is something else:
Then you also have the benefits of far easier to share, transfer, etc than a DSLR

You're also already hauling so much stuff around with a kid already the last thing you want is another bag, let alone one full of expensive stuff you have to worry about forgetting somewhere. I used my nice camera for a couple of her monthly photos and then haven't touched it since.
What I did do was get better phones for my wife and myself and set them (and my work phone) so double tapping the home button automatically brings up the camera without even needing to unlock the phone. Kids do stuff fast and their attention span is microscopic so being able to get pictures or video in a second is huge. Then get an account with something like Sync, again chuck the app on everything and upload the photos and videos you take right away so if you baby brain and leave your phone on the roof of your car and drive away it doesn't matter. If you want higher quality pictures hire someone to take family photoshoots every so often, that way you're in the shots too.

Jason @ Hooked On Towing
Fair price, easy to deal with, not sketchy. Used 3-4 times now and service has been consistently good.

For some reason, I thought of Lomac when I heard of this................. https://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/hoc...ames-1.5364260
And what's with "Female Hockey?"
Is there a male hockey? I can see girls and women's hockey, like boys and men's hockey, but female? Also, when do boys become men in hockey? Maybe girls don't really turn into women until they're deflowered? Always a female. Unless tranny overhaul.
So is it not okay to call a short person a midget? I guess, small person? Even then it can be offensive. It's like homo sexual.......... gay is not cool anymore, or correct. Because sometimes, I'm really happy and feel gay. The gay nineties, gay apparel, etc. Queer, I think is the preferred term. Amiright, you people on RS of this kind? Even then, I can't use it to describe someone who acts a little queer (I won't mention any RS members). Fairy............ not a proper term, because as far as I know, there's nobody who goes around in wings with a wand in hand and sprinkling fairy dust on things. I just want to be as politically correct as possible. As a last note, please don't call me a senior. I find that offensive. I don't hang out at a McDonald's for cheap coffee or stay at home watching Matlock reruns..........
god bless................

anyone know of an alarm technician that can reset/reprogram an alarm system without a monitoring contract?
when we moved in to our townhouse, there was a DSC monitoring console and system in place but we never got the master codes from previous owners so all it really does is chime when anything opens but can't be armed
called a few places but they won't do just the reprogramming, there's gotta be a monitoring contract in place
i just want that thing functional for now and maybe consider a monitoring contract later

I’m interested in this as well. My place came with alarm and I have the manual but when I tried to program new code it wouldn’t work. Kind of like my alarm is stuck in program mode. Then my backup battery died.

Pretty sure Hondaracer influenced my Sony XBR purchase which led to another, larger and better Sony XBR purchase a year or so later.
Honda, if you could stop posting about tech my wallet would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
Anyone wanna buy a DSLR? lol

Fucking hell, I just bought an iPhone XR less than a year ago. I'm totally fine with it, but damn it to hell. I want the 11.................
As for the alarm thing. I had the same thing happen to me, except, I'm the original owner of the home. lol. Lost all the papers and stuff. Never really used the darn thing. It's a DSC. I went and got me a new brain to solve the issue. Then I can set my code from the factory default - and write it down this time. Just too fricken lazy to re and re. Just take off one wire at a time and put it on the new brain. You can tell I'm old school, calling it the brain, hee hee. This project is way over at the end of my things to do list.

Any recommendations in Vancouver for xbox one console repair? Have a disc that won't eject. I've tried the 1.5mm alan key in the hole in the side but it's not giving me any love.
Cheers boys.

Just make it clear upfront you need help unlocking your DSC panel and aren’t interested in a monitoring contract.

^ if jing is offering to help you’re probably better off PM’ing him. I’m not sure Barry is still around or even interested in this kind of work considering he’s likely near retirement.. if he hasn’t retired already.

Amazing...... was hoping to see a hot chick in there somewhere.......... then again, no gravity, no bounce. Gulolol. I guess at the end, when they descended and started cheering, jumping up and down...............
Yeah, I'm a pig. And proud of it, too.
