Anybody have any tips? It's parked underground.

Little fuckers.

also start with an engine shampoo or similar, to clean off the poo and whatever smelly signs they left behind. I think they tend to return to places they're familiar with, so if you clean off as much as possible, it's less chance they return. And check under the hood again every so often... typical non-car people probably never open the hood, and that's when things go unnoticed, giant nests, chewed wires and hoses...

Honda sells anti-mouse tape to tape around the harnesses iirc, expensive stuff. We have a customer that asks us to (and supplies their own) apply bitter apple spray to the engine bay every time we do an oil change; i think its original purpose is to train pets not to chew things. And apparently it works for them

Any ideas for where to recycle old expired child seat?
Or is my only option in a garbage bin?

If you rip all the fabric off I'd imagine a recycling depot would accept it in their hard plastic bin.

I have to try the pizza from 7-Eleven.

Watching those television ads................ there's the one where they knock on some random house with a sample of the pizza, but it ain't a random house. The address is 711.

Comic creator Gerry Alanguilan has died at the age of 51, as confirmed by Alanguilan's wife, Ilyn.

"To everyone who has loved Gerry, thank you very much. You brought him so much joy," Ilyn Alanguilan posted on Facebook.

Alanguilan is best known as the inker of comic books such as Wetworks, X-Men, Superman: Birthright, Wolverine, and Fantastic Four (often alongside penciler Leinil Francis Yu). He also is also known as the creator of the comic books Johnny Balbona, Humanis Rex!, ELMER, Timawa and Where Bold Stars go to Die in his native Phillipines.

"Saddened to learn of the passing of Gerry Alanguilan," Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski tweeted. "Another wonderful person taken from us too soon. An amazingly talented writer and inker, mentor to younger artists, and advocate for global comics, the comics world and Filipino art community lost a friend and hero today."

Alanguilan also achieved viral video fame with his "Hey Baby" YouTube video, which has been viewed 6.49 million times, and was featured in a segment on Comedy Central's Tosh.0.

OMFG! I just cracked open a bottle of Apple Coke I got inside the December Japan Crate. Damn, it’s so fine. Taste of fresh green apples. Like WTF? How’d they do it? Food science, ftmfw! Apparently launched in Japan and HK only. I would like to order more, but they’re getting hard to get and getting expensive.

I’m going to have to make my own using the Sodastream.

They are selling for 15 dollars for 1 bottle.. danggggg

twitchyzero 01-06-2020 05:03 PM

long shot but is there a way to set notification on local pick n' pull wreckers when a specific model comes in?

underscore 01-06-2020 07:20 PM

^ use the custom alerts with Row52

twitchyzero 01-06-2020 08:32 PM

no participating yards in vancouver, but seems like they ship parts once you set up an alert?

underscore 01-06-2020 09:02 PM

I'm honestly not sure, I set a couple up for the Pick n Pull here but haven't actually gotten any alerts yet.

Furnace is acting weird. For the past two weeks it’s been getting colder and colder in the house. Found out it’s the air filter. Removed it, runs like normal. Replaced the old air filter with a new one and it’s slowed down the heating again. Looks like it restricts the intake (probably cuz of the dense cold air) and adding a thick 1 inch filter is restricting even more air from entering the intake.

Can I run the furnace without an air filter for a while ?

Seems to only happen with this seriously cold temperatures.

What MERV rating are the filters you are using?

Some HVAC guys do recommend running lower rated MERV rated filters like a MERV 6 and change them out more frequently (1-2 months) in the winter.

Being that a MERV 6 filter will cause less restriction on the furnace system = less wear on your furnace. They arguably may not filter as better as a MERV 8+ filters but they often go on sale at HD & Canadian Tire so changing them out every month or two in the winter isn't so bad.
