lol aww no I would never wish ill on a fellow industry company. I mean I would personally never step foot in there again but it sucks to see anyone go under. Its a really tough business.
Anyone buy amazon wheel spacers? I'm looking for 5mm spacers. I may or may not need them for a wheel swap I'm trying. 18" sahara wheels onto wk2. Some say it'll fit.. some say it'll rub the front caliper brackets.

Speaking of Swiss Chalet, I was at Safeway this afternoon. Don't know if it was because the topic of Swiss Chalet came up or not, but I saw all kinds of stuff with the Swiss Chalet brand on it. Everything from Ribs and entrees to frozen pies and baked goods. It must be like the Snap On name on crappy stools, flashlights, and other non traditional items.

Amazon return policy is pretty good............ it's Costco-like.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same stuff you get at the restaurant, except when you dine in, they put fresh sauce in top lol

Swiss Chalet used to be SO good ... but they went spiralling down the toilet in terms of quality. Now I think they retooled and just make frozen ribs and pies in your local grocery store.

Sorry, I guess it's easy to miss stuff......... like the time somebody was looking for sawdust. I mentioned making your own. Then a few posts later, someone suggests the same thing and........... anyway, I saw, "down the toilet," and lost train of thought. Kind of went down the toilet, instead of, "hold that thought."

I need to close the window on a car that has no battery. I've tried hooking two different chargers straight to the battery terminals that are hanging in the air, but I get nothing. No door chime, no lights, nothing. Am I somehow doing something wrong or do chargers have circuitry in them to prevent them putting out power without an actual battery attached? I don't really want to have to pull the battery out of something else just to move this stupid glass out of my way.

Some work on amp draws, but using the boost option should deliver straight 10amps right away. You sure you don't have a missing ground or something else preventing connectivity?
I wouldn't think I do, I drove the car in and opened the window last week but I'll check it over again. I tried my 2A trickle charger and my big charger on 2A and on 12A and no dice. It has a 75A start option too but that seemed a bit excessive/risky.

I tried it with a battery and still no dice. I hooked the battery to the post on the alternator, and it all worked. Long story short, after a lot of fiddling around I found out that somehow the cheap aftermarket lead battery terminal wasn't conducting to the ring terminals on the wiring. This is the third time now that one of those pieces of junk has failed me in some way.

If any of you are planning on traveling west from Coquitlam via Lougheed, be prepared for a huge ass line up. From Brunette to Production. I was heading east from Burnaby. All because of construction. Down to one lane in the Gaglardi area.

After my daily to Forest Lawn, I go Sprott, then up Kengsinton to Winston Slip / Winston Street, which becomes Government, then to Lougheed or up to Austin to keep going east. Going the other way along Austin to North Road to Beaverbrook along Eastlake and then Broadway.

Damn scumbags who hacked Translink for ransom. Translink was already on life support ... why would you hack something like a public transport system. Find these Russian scumbags and hang them by their baws.
As if 2020 could not get any worse with this pandemic.
Vancouver Sun article about a powerful geomagnetic storm from the sun in our solar system. The NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) calls the storm the "G3". BC Hydro is preparing for a power outage today.
A geomagnetic storm is a major disturbance of the Earth’s magnetosphere that occurs when there is a very efficient exchange of energy from the solar wind into the space environment surrounding Earth, according to the NOAA.
The agency says when the charged particles hit the Earth they could cause aurora borealis, or northern lights, as far south as Iowa, Pennsylvania and Oregon.
SpaceWeather.com says it’s a noteworthy event. It’s apparently significant enough that B.C. Hydro said Wednesday they’re preparing for a strong solar magnetic storm, which could lead to power cuts. Solar magnetic storms are gusts of charged particles that come from the Sun, and can potentially cause serious damage to high-voltage transmission systems leading to outages, says Brett Hallborg, senior system control manager with B.C. Hydro
AS long as RS works, I'm cool with this "G3" geo magnetic storm.

He is burned into my memory when 10 yrs old. He was the crazy, seemingly invincible mofo that could possibly destroy Hulk Hogan. No Holds Barred was awesome (for a 10 yr old)! I really like Tiny as the president of Earth in The 5th Element. RIP.
