Thing with RR is the average person can’t tell the difference between a 2004 RR sport that costs 7k now and the 2020 version that costs 90 lol

Kinda the downside of these vehicles that don’t go through major facelifts/overhauls

Paid ~$5000 to replace the air bag suspension on our old LR3 that conveniently failed a few months after warranty had expired..

Bought a Sienna a few months later and never looked back.

Anyone know if it's possible to digitally paint match a car colour?

In this instance, I want a sunshade strip with a solid colour of BMW Arctic Silver 309. I'll put a logo in the middle and for LOLs I'll also put something that indicates 75cm (in accordance to) and MVAR 7.05(5)(a)

If you have the color code, I don't see why not...

color code would match CYMK numbers?

whitev70r 05-13-2021 12:07 PM

^ But I've often wondered how you can factor in sun fade or age ... digital match would be at the level it left the factory, right?

Hondaracer 05-13-2021 12:08 PM

Lordco and other places have guns that will pull the paint code off the car as it sits then. As close as you can get presumably

BIC_BAWS 05-13-2021 03:24 PM

Yeah I know that you can paint match physically. But I wanted to know if you could paint match it on Photoshop LOL

Cause I want to print something and I want it paint matched

Paint Apps like behr (iirc u have to log on to the US app store to get it) will give you a colour code for whatever photo you submit, I've tested it with a wall of mine, and it gives you multiple results for you to choose

Luckily with the results the app gave me I was able to remember the name of the paint I used

So you could try an app but the fact it gives you several results should tell ya it's not too accurate

Hondaracer 05-13-2021 04:00 PM

Either Behr or one of those companies has an app that you can buy a paid little peice of hardware, it looks like a button

You place this button on whatever you want to match and it will give you similar colour codes and paints from all sorts of paint manufacturers. I forget what it’s called and it may not be that applicable to automotive paints but it’s really cool

Tbh i don't know why they picked this location.
King Ed overpath makes it tricky to get in and out, plus there is nothing there except Fat Burger and McDonald...

StylinRed 05-18-2021 12:58 AM

It's like a lil automotive zone though, and given nothing else is around, it was probably cheap :lol

But yeah tricky to get in n out of

MG1 05-18-2021 07:06 AM

Turn at KMS Tools and go around the road behind Ikea. Go into parking lot at what used to be Home Outfitters and Spirit Halloween. Enter at the west driveway. That will take you to the chargers bypassing the McD's - Fat Burger mess. Mark's and that dollar store, ftw! Plus that pet store, not that I have any pets.

Plus, wiith a Tesla, how long would you be there for? Charge and get on the freeway. I think it's a great location for Tesla charging.

Also right next to the car washes if so inclined

MG1 05-18-2021 07:21 AM

I go to that car wash often. Even have their gift card. So convenient. Just insert that card and you're in faster than most people who are fumbling around looking for change and credit cards. They have tap, but it doesn't always work. Anyway.................

MG1 05-18-2021 07:34 AM

Yeah, I charge at the poor man's charger at Ikea. It's slow, but free. Clean washrooms, lots of eye candy, and their veggie dogs are so good. I also pick up their Pear Cider Drink whenever I'm there. I used to buy them a flat at a time, but getting them from the cooler is where it's at now. I don't know what's in that shit, but it's good. Maybe it's the slight alcohol content (0.1% by volume, lol). Imported from Sweden. No recycling fee or taxes. If you do buy them, don't pay for them at the counter where the food is. Pay for them at the regular self serve. When I buy that shit at the food section, I get charged tax. At the self serve, it's tax free. Like, WTF? BTW, recycling fee is great and all, as I return bottles all the time. What I don't like is the extra fees stores charge for handling on top of taxes and recycling fees. That money, you never get back.

Anyone have experience ordering products from Best Buy which are available online only? Does it take long to ship? Any issues?

What's the item?

If it's a backorder, the estimated delivery date could be pushed back.

If it's in stock online, the estimated delivery date is pretty accurate.

Bouncing Bettys 05-19-2021 06:19 AM

It's an unlocked open box phone.
