lmao he's worse than Netanyahu

The alliance wont last, n they'll have another election in weeks i imagine

mikemhg 06-14-2021 10:46 AM

Stylin is right.

It's good to see Bibi out, but Bennett is even more conservative then Bibi, and fully supports continued and further settlements.

The alliance won't last, but maybe it will long enough for Bibi to finally get prosecuted on his corruption cases.

Does anyone know a place to buy a helmet for car track days at Mission?

Burnaby Kawasaki?
Driver's edge?

Check what certification is allowed at the event your attending (ie: Snell 2015) before you buy one.

fliptuner 06-19-2021 07:25 PM

Who's at fault in a 5 car accident, where the 4 cars in the back, hit the car in front of them? Are each of the 4 cars responsible for the damage to the car they hit?

Anyone following "the global reset"?
One of the same guys thats our antivaxxer at work, is so far into this global reset /world economic forum / etc its like his passion

Took a look into it, seems like a bunch of mumbo jumbo. I love me a conspiracy theory, but this just has too many holes.

2016 women's olympics

Gold medal:
Sukanya Srisurat
Body weight - 56kg
Highest snatch - 110kg
Clean & jerk - 130kg
Total = 240

Then there's Laurel Hubbard in 1998, waaaay before the transition and he's only gotten stronger since 2013 when he switched.
Body weight - 135kg
Snatch - 130kg
Clean & jerk - 170kg
Total = 300

Is this the start of how "inclusion" will work? At this rate they might as well get rid of women's sports and just pool everybody together.

GLOW 06-21-2021 06:53 AM

eventually with enough participants i feel they should just create/include a 3rd group comp to group together or pool it all like you said Stewie and not hand out medals at all and go by points system or something by country?

My friend is saying Laurel loses to women quite often, and that Laurels lost to Sarah Robles (team usa) twice, who's in the same category as Laurel for the Olympics, so they're not worried

She's kind of changed her tune, as she was complaining that Laurel takes away from a biologically born women's hopes n dreams of joining the team

Li wenwen has the world record tho

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Li_Wenwen

Should make for an interesting competition

Might be a good solution since trans individuals don't want to be called 'he' or 'she' ... it's 'they' so let's do what they want.

You can't refuse to be called 'he' or 'she' and insist on participating in the she group of Olympics or sports.

Laurel doesn't need to win. In fact, I bet she won't, and people will use her loss to justify her (or others) participation in women's sports. Anyone who says otherwise will be criticized. But just give it a few decades, and we'll see the true impact of this move.

Have anyone been to false creek area? Took the kids to science world and how they incorporate the bike lanes, it's not safe for any families at all eh? Kids can run away and would get smoked by a oncoming biker.

MG1 06-21-2021 03:18 PM

It wouldn’t be so bad if they were all safe riders. Some of them don’t follow the rules or think about the safety of pedestrians.

Teriyaki 06-21-2021 04:02 PM

That area is super busy with bikes and people criss crossing allover. I'm surprised there aren't more accidents there.

MG1 06-21-2021 04:49 PM

It’s a good thing cars aren’t allowed in there. Some of the scenery would cause accidents.

1 amazon warehouse in the UK dumps millions of unsold products a year, from expensive electronics to crap, not returns mind you

Amazon destroying millions of items of unsold stock in one of its UK warehouses every year, ITV News investigation finds

Products that were never sold, or returned by a customer. Almost all could have been redistributed to charities or those in need. Instead, they are thrown into vast bins, carried away by lorries (which we tracked), and dumped at either recycling centres or, worse, a landfill site.
Here I thought they auctioned it off on pallets, there's video in the link btw

And here's a cbc marketplace story that tracks amazon returns from a year ago

edit: nevermind found my answer

Humans gonna human.

This is why we'll never solve climate change, or any of these other environmental issues. Resource scarcity will be a real problem in the future here.

Profit rules all -- run it to the ground baby.

Even if they're safe riders, at least there are barriers along the Olympic village side (tap and barrel). The dragonboating area all the way to science world is a free for all. How do you expect a safe rider to stop in time if someone or animal runs out into the bike lane. Almost like they ran out of money and decided to paint the lines and fuck it.
