if i was trying to DIY myself i'd probably look at some roll on weatherproof deck sealant if i was lazy, or maybe deck membrane or similar material to what is existing, like a roll on asphalt and if it's sloped try to do positive lap.

my old house had a HUGE carport deck and we redid the decking membrane. hired someone to do it b/c i have office hands :lol. It kept quite well, the guy did a good job sealing the sheets he rolled on.

Look into cold process flat roofing. easy to do. not sure how much it goes for though.

Honestly, I'm horrified about this being an 11-month old baby losing their life. Gutted.

The rumours I have heard are that the McLaren was on a D-plate and that it was T-Boned by a Ford Explorer that supposedly ran a red.

I'm puzzled that there are no photos of this Explorer circulating though.

Here's a video of the Ford that supposedly ran a red and was DUI. It is not clear if the Ford hit the pedestrians or if it was the McLaren. Note that the Ford is on the sidewalk.

Using the above McLaren incident, they would offer points of view like:
1. The child didn't die or, child didn't die of collision.
2. It was the father's fault.
3. Could it be that the mother engineered all this because of some nefarious reason?
4. etc.

Naw that's not really true... That's just how conspiracists are portrayed due to fear of losing audience members to the "conspiracy wing" obviously extreme cases would exist that would fit the stereotype (CiC), a lot dont, but they'll get lumped in as well
