I'm telling you, avoid any major gatherings and events for the first while here now that COVID restrictions are easing. We have a friend that works security at one of the casino's and he told us they are extremely understaffed (similar to restaurant industry) and fights are breaking out every single day, he's working 6 days a week and stressed AF. The ones above were just more serious. Also because of limited capacity people with short fuses getting impatient waiting in line. Then getting inside and losing money = messy situations all around.

Looks like I'll be avoiding casino's for a while. Not like I'm itching to donate my money anyway haha

Problem is, there are no towers near my place, so I can't access it at home.

As soon as it comes here I think I'll switch to 5G for home internet. I have to do some research to see what latency is like though. I heard it's pretty much like regular internet, unlike LTE which can reach decent enough sustained speeds but has really bad latency issues (so basically it is fine for downloading but not for gaming). Need to find out for sure though.

Yeah, it's basically a scam.

They're probably holding your package because it hasn't been cleared by CBSA. You can clear it yourself by going to the YVR CBSA Post Office. UPS will have to provide you with the slip. You'll pay a fraction of the cost that UPS is charging you.
