I agree. And as much as I hate admitting it, I love the fact that once every few episodes has one of those feel good/sad endings that make you think, even if only for a few moments, after the episode is over.

Sonick is a genius. I won't go into detail what's so great about his post. But it's damn good!

SPANISH village votes for a plan to rent out a field for growing cannabis in an urgent bid to create jobs and raise money to pay off its debts.

Rasquera's village council on February 29 approved, in a 4-3 vote, the plan to rent seven hectares of public land to an association that promotes the legal recreational or therapeutic use of cannabis by its 5000 members.
But since the plan was met with fierce opposition from some residents and opposition parties who fear it will turn the village located 140km south of Barcelona into a drugs mecca, the council agreed to put it to a referendum Tuesday.
To the delight of Mayor Bernat Pellisa, 308 voters (or 56.3 percent) agreed with 239 against.
Earlier the mayor had threatened to resign with the entire council if the "yes" vote was less than 75 percent, but he happily brushed that aside saying, "[Wednesday] morning we'll take decisions after digesting the results."
Private consumption of cannabis is not outlawed in Spain although it is illegal to sell the drug.
Rasquera, where local produce traditionally includes olives and grapes, is suffering from the country's severe public financing crisis and hopes income from letting the land will help it pay down its &euro: 1.3 million (US$1.7 million) of debt.
The village council, controlled by a pro-Catalan independence party, says the plan would create 40 direct and indirect jobs, mostly involving the harvesting of the cannabis crop.
It argues the field can be rented to the Barcelona Personal Use Cannabis Association for more than 10 times the regular market price. The Barcelona-based cannabis smokers' association will reportedly pay the village ?650,000 a year for the right to grow its annual supply there.

Beer cans are cans...... the only difference is you get more for them at the recycling depots. Mind you, you paid more for them. 10¢ as opposed to 5¢. Amiright?
Coles notes: Humour website SniffPetrol.com posts a photoshop of Lotus CEO's face on the body of Iraq's ex-information minister, saying "everything is all right at Lotus". Lotus gets offended, posts a press release that starts off making fun of themselves but then goes entirely apeshit.

Does anyone here have a subscription to Car and Driver or buys Car and Driver regularly?
I was at Superstore a few days ago and thought this issue would be mildly interesting and decided to flip through. SURPRISE, all the pages inside are upside down and backwards to the cover. Or perhaps the cover is backwards, I dunno. Is it just that one batch at Superstore or is everyone's like that too?
