depends on the look ur going for. i personally like the meadow green myself. the 2x rustoleum covers extremely well and since its also a primer, sticks well too($10 a can and 1 can is all thats needed. i painted both my truck wheels with it(gloss black). over time the gloss shine will fade to more a matte color over time so if u want it shinny, clearcoat is needed.

I have painted with the stems on. I don't know anything about tire mounting though. Sounds like it'll be easier to put the stems in after, although all you need to do to mask stems the stems with masking tape.
I recommend getting a spray can trigger as well. 
It's a game changer when working with spray cans. Way more control, less fatigue.

Walked into one today and they quoted >$60/lb ??!! Anyone ever clean a rainfall shower head? Does soaking in CLR like those old commercials work? Lol
My shower head has some grime on the little jets building up so I’d assume the inside has some as well, thinking I need to remove it and clean it

You can get cleaning vinegar that's double the concentration too.

I would just carefully rub some of the corrosion off with a bit of SOS pad and then paintbrush some primer and paint over it
