It also doesn't look like it's on sale.

I borrowed this from a neighbour last year to clean house siding and deck canopy last summer, I was sufficiently pleased with its performance. I ended up buying the same one early this Spring and for the price and for odd, small jobs around the house, it's decent. Contemplated buying a more heavy duty unit but realistically, I'll only use the thing 2-4 times a year, no point for me.

Trying to post a car for sale in the for sale thread

Goes to "database error" after pressing submit

I also don't see any other cars for sale there, only the stickys?

Suggestions?

Shiite, I hate the Canadian Tire website. So freaking slow and on top of that, it's pretty useless. I can see they are trying to improve it, but please make it so it loads faster. It has always been bad........ then it got worse over the years. Now it's downright hideous. The Integra Girl of websites.

Their app for phones and tablets are okay (just okay). Their Triangle payment app is okay, but really awkward to navigate and not intuitive at all. I have no problem with other shopping or banking sites. /rant

Awesome in what way?

Dat car, doe.............. one look and chicks be like............ "No thanks." To each their own, but why take a nice car and turn it into a big turn off? I'd say not chick magnet, but more like chick repellant. Now, if the car were in/from Italy or France........... nuff said. Germans are more sophisticated, ja?

Car Trunk Sale at Bill Copeland parking lot this coming Saturday. It usually starts at 9:00 am. I go because I can. I notice garage sales are slowly making a comeback. Every time I see one, it's too late. They're either packing up or everything decent is gone.

We should have a Revscene garage sale. Proceeds go to a good cause or whatever..............

I actually just learned each store has there own sale prices based on the managers discretion. Bought a seat cushion at the store by my work @70%off, which i liked so i went to the store by my house later that day to buy another and it was only 25% off and of course online they didnt even have a sale price on it.

highfive 06-09-2022 09:24 AM

^Their return policy pretty crappy too. you have to go back to the purchasing store to return. They are all individual stores apparetnly.

MG1 06-09-2022 10:13 AM

Does it matter if the Canadian Tire store on Grandview and the one on Cambie are owned by two brothers? Lol. Nice guys, actually. Canadian Tire is hit and miss when it come to product availability. I was pleasantly surprised they had stuff in stock while other retailers had nothing on their shelves for months on end. Something to do with distribution - good planning.

Their website………….. did I mention how crappy it is? Hee hee………………..

This is not true, I've returned many items at different CTire stores all over the lower mainland.

Sounds like the retail store I worked at. Corporate head office would say which items will be discontinued and marked to go on clearance. However, each store manager has the discretion to increase the discount to clear out inventory. It might depend on how much warehouse storage space needed in the back. I'm guessing this extra discount would reflect on the store manager's performance when they measure profitability at year-end.

I'm currently stuck trying to get this stupid page to load properly so I can see if they have any 2 1/4" ones in stock. For the life of me I can't make it work.

Maybe the lag depends on how many people are checking inventory at a certain store? I can check south surrey inventory no problem 90-95% of the time but there have been days when it’s not as quick.

I think I have posted about this before but this pasta sauce recipe pisses me off because it's crap. I have seen multiple articles with multiple people claiming to have invented it. In the recipe they want you put in 1/2 of an onion but before you use the sauce they want you to chuck the onion in the trash. Claiming this is the worlds best is 100% B.S.

Is it possible to move funds from RRSP A to RRSP B without closing RRSP A? I get RRSP matching but it's with a different management company than my regular RRSP and I'd prefer to move the money over every so often.
