I never watched Deb Hope when she was an anchor, but I hope she gets a regular stream of visitors even if she can't remember who they are. Even without their memory, people with dementia can still enjoy the feeling from having company and social interaction.

If you have the time to spare and feel compelled enough, you could volunteer at a care home to do social visits with the residents.

Making yourself a Do Not Resuscitate status might help with not getting old enough to get dementia.

Not rough overall except theres one section about 45 mins out from the intersection between ucluelet and Tofino they are doing work on that is pretty rough on a steep slope and single lane one way traffic only alternating. Depending on how low it is it may scrape.

I drove it in my e36 many times in the last few years and definitely had to be careful in the construction sections, but luckily that area you can really only go like 40 anyways. No damage or any real issues. Just attention. That said though I haven’t been since last summer.

Being Canada Day, I got out the Canadian flag side mirror covers. Put them on and merrily rolled along Lougheed Hwy. Was going a bit too fast and the driver side cover came off........ I did a 180 and went back to get it. Daughter who was in the car went out to get it. What kind of father does that? Make daughter play Frogger on Lougheed Hwy, gulolol.

I drove out there 3 weeks ago and the roads are mostly smooth. Construction is still happening in that section that sonick mentioned and it's still a one-way gravel road along the cliff's edge that goes up and down. I wouldn't take anything lowered through it, but for reference, there was NA Miata with stock ride height that had no problems clearing the section.

looks like they put that bear cub down. Was the bear getting too close to people or people getting too close to the bear? That video looked like the latter.

Do ice cream trucks not sell popsicles anymore?

westopher 07-05-2022 06:27 PM
