Your dealer buddy eh? Manic! is calling the cops.

bcrdukes 07-18-2022 09:00 PM

Badhobz 07-18-2022 09:25 PM

Install is this Wednesday afternoon so I’ll let you know how it goes dukes.

68style 07-18-2022 09:28 PM

There was also a deal on the F70? There I thought I missed out on the A119 V3.

Also in the market for a dash cam + simple installation. Any other recommendations?

ah i forgot to mention that you need the hardwiring kit. Either you supply it, or these MJ guys will supply it. In my case, i asked them how much and they said 30 bucks so its $110 (cash) in total right now.

A concept from Hyundai. Zero chance it'll be built, but I really wish they would because hot damn

It's the same sort of style as the IONIQ 5, which to me looks like a sort of retromodern Lancia Delta. I just wish they made that as a small hatchback instead of a huge CUV.

Badhobz 07-19-2022 08:24 AM

looks like a modern day DeLorean

68style 07-19-2022 08:41 AM

I see Delorean styling cues

Lancia front end

The side profile is exactly a mid 80’s Celica-Supra

They lost cuz none of them were smart enough to get their stories straight about even the colour of my dads car but the driver still got like $5k for his “whiplash”…

Don't even have to mention to know what race they were haha

Speaking of EV

sure, we all love driving SUV and paying $2/L gas, even though we all can afford to buy $150k Telsa X???...
rolleyes.....

If you ever want to wonder where these types of morons are headed... take a gander at the /fuckcars subreddit one day... it's... uh... enlightening? There's an awful lot of people out there who think the answer to societal issues is to hurt their neighbours.

my buddy told me prices went up on the reeperbahn due to the lack of eastern european women (Ukrainian and Russian). apparently they are too busy doing something or another....

Inflation knows no boundaries

Finished the dash cam install today at this MJ dashcam. Chris was great! he did the job under an hour and everything was well put together again. no issues so far. I watched him and he was very meticulous in his work.

MJ dashcam is actually inside Vancity Vinyl's shop (chris works for these guys) so we shot the shit and talked about my wrap etc. All really really nice guys. They can do 4 caliper painting for 500 bucks! i might just go get that done too. Would only take them 1 day to do it.

^this is the one i bought and its good enough to stop them around the deck. But it does have a weird, kind of musky scent that smells a bit like natural gas. They do not recommend you have your pets around it, so i keep my little guys inside.

Ive sent city of richmond numerous complaints about how they spend money on flowers and crap around city hall but wont do mosquito control when we literally live in a marsh.

just to add to the list of thermacell support, bought one of the packs after reading these comments n haven't noticed a mosquito, or moth, or any bugs for that matter

The refills are expensive though, might try to get some lavender to plant in a pot again, that used to work too, but I hate watering plants :lol

whats the cheapest you guys have seen cherries for this season?
i'm seeing $4.99/lb pretty much everywhere. are we having a shit season or will they still come down in price? usually i buy a ton when its 2.99 or even $1.99.

whitev70r 07-21-2022 01:10 PM

Inflation ... standard is $4.99 for now. That's what I'm seeing but I doubt it will get to pre-Covid prices of $2/lb. My guess is that $4/lb might be lowest.

westopher 07-21-2022 01:57 PM

Government - food has gone up 8%
Me - flat irons up 200%
Cherries 100%
Potatoes 130%
Onions 90%
Chicken wings 400%
Canola oil 170%
Flour 30%
Milk 30%
Eggs 35%

Add them all together and it gets to 8%
Sweet ass math

sonick 07-21-2022 02:06 PM

Big Mac up only 7%

Safeway is supposed to have cherries on sale for $4.44/lb this week. But I am finding that a lot of times, Safeway's fruits suppliers are not at all reliable in delivering the goods. Sales start on Thursdays, and it could be Tuesday, and they still don't have the advertised fruits in stock.

Apparently the heat dome last year as well as the extra cold+wet season we got this year are hurting the local fruit growers a lot. Strawberries, cherries, blueberries, peaches harvests are all much poorer than usual.

68style 07-21-2022 02:49 PM

^ I heard the same, but then I went to Emma Lea last weekend in Ladner for their "last chance" to u-pick strawberries and there were literally hundreds of people in the field and my giant bucket was full in like 30 minutes, every leaf lifted up had like 20 good berries under it... was starting to just get choosy about only taking the biggest ones lol

Best I ever seen for strawberry picking!

xxxrsxxx 07-21-2022 03:20 PM

what about blueberries? Lately, it's like $5-6 for a pint
