The one vehicle I never expected to a single complement on, let alone many, is the F150. It's just a stock truck, I don't get it. https://i.imgur.com/B2ajok6.jpg |
that is a sexy truck though.... i like it in red. |

This is the sexiest thing about owning a truck. My wife was a hard no on red. I was set on leadfoot grey but could only find 2.7Ls in that colour when I was in the market. Never thought I’d buy silver but couldn’t be picky with limited inventory and it has grown on me a lot since. Plus I opened the door and loved the blue interior. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/att...-5-jpg.266040/ Now I have my eyes on these to match: https://d30ec9xstuh8sw.cloudfront.ne...N-85127U71.jpg |

they're tearing down the barge! |
Does anyone know if there is a place to get oat milk in 4L jugs? Girlfriend started using the barista version for her coffee. Tried some and it tastes pretty good. Bought some for like 2x1L for $6 at Save-on-Foods the other day to see if I'd drink it and I've been downing them, lol. Cheapest I've seen is the Costco 6x1L packs for $15. |
I can tell you I've never seen that as an option from any of my suppliers. |
Likewise. The option does not exist even out this way out east. |
Does anyone have recommendations for places to eat in Vegas that are good, but aren't stupid expensive? A buddy recommended Nobu, but I looked at their menu and it's like $40+ USD for an appy. That one meal alone would probably cost us over $300 USD. I recently went to the Mackenzie room and AnnaLena and we spent $250 and $350 respectively, while the food was good, I don't think food is worth that much no matter how good it is. I'm just looking for a solid meal. For lunch we're doing Gordan Ramsay Burger one day, but we have two dinner nights available and I'm looking for ideas, thanks! |
I've heard good things and seen some videos about Lotus of Siam if you're into Thai food. It's on my list of restaurants to visit when I goto LV one day. |
Go to In n Out, they've got a few locations in Vegas :D Last time I went to Vegas was in 2017 n most places I went to closed down since then so nothing to really add |
Google actually says that Lotus of Siam place is closed as well |
There are a lot of restaurants off the strip which offer great value and food options if you are open to doing that. A lot of hidden gems for sure. |

The wife and I aren't big on Thai food, but i'll check it out thanks! For in and out, I wasn't a big fan. We prefer Chick Fil-a actually. I think we're going to do a lunch buffet for one of the days, Bellagio's brunch buffet is only $43 surprisingly |

Thought about this randomly in the past as well. Everyone is living longer, "achievements" take more innovation to become recognized, and getting good at hobbies or sports have become exponentially harder than ever before. There's so much information out there for everything that the playing field has been the most level than ever before. That article also makes me think about how much longer it takes for everyone to financially "make it" before they consider settling down. Everything mentioned in the article probably helps contribute to that. |
Does anyone know of any diamond wholesalers? |
Yes, I worked with one last year. There are a few from the engagement ring thread in the relationship forum as well. Are you looking to get an engagement ring or just sell off some of your blood diamonds? :D |

I worked with a handful of brokers in Vancouver and tried a few in Toronto but eventually landed with a guy in Vancouver. For context, every one of the referred brokers I worked with in Vancouver were excellent and the only reason why I didn't end up working with them was because they could not guarantee the specific requirement I had (it was a specific ring design and they couldn't source the diamond parameters I wanted and at a price I was comfortable with.) Will send PM shortly as I don't want to post the info here as the guy doesn't like to be advertised. |
