Where can I find a legal stream of new episodes of The Simpsons? GlobalTV airs it but they don't have it in their streaming site.

Strata question:
I missed a scheduled fire detector inspection in my townhouse, now strata wants $50 fine.
Is this bylaw? Do I have to pay?
You need to read your strata by-laws to see what it says.
Chances are, yes. Considering they need to pay the company come back out and inspect only yours.
Regardless of what your bylaw manual says....just pay the $50. You can't expect others to pay for you missing the inspection. The re-scheduling fee needs to come from somewhere.
I'm traveling to the island (Naniamo and Victoria) on the weekend. I have a data plan on my phone with Rogers.
Will i be dinged/charged extra for using data while on the island?
I checked Rogers' website but it says no I wont... but they also offer "canada data roaming packages".
Those sneaky bastards...

generally speaking realtors are like used car salsemen, their "code of ethics" or whatever it's called where you are supposed to look out for the best interest of both parties is ignored in the majority of cases

A bit of a digression - but I hate real estate agents.
I'm glad to see that consumers now have the ability to have a property listed on MLS for a flat fee. Unless the person selling the property is truly incapable of escorting a potential buyer through a brief tour and negotiating a pretty simple deal, MLS is the only useful service agents have been capable of offering for a very long time. I was very seriously looking at buying a property last spring, I decided to hold off, but my short list was entirely based on photos off MLS and location. When I looked at the properties on my short list, the agent was nothing more than an annoying bug pointing out the nice view and counter tops that anyone who isn't blind could clearly see.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm asking cause I want to negotiate a price and then subtract what an agent would get and do it privately.
According to the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, there is no set commission rate!
However, I just sold my house in April, and we used the "standard" rate:
Commission = 7% on first $100k and 2.5 on remainder
Buyer's agent gets 46.5% of the commission + HST
Seller's agent gets 53.5% of the commission + HST (because he has more expenses than the buyer's agent, my agent had to pay his agency + REBGV for listing on MLS)
All of this can be negotiable...

Isn't a real estate course 6 weeks at ubc and only a grand or 2? isn't it worth the investment to just become your own agent for your own property?
The licensing fees ad up quick.
A person could easily sell privately without taking the course however, you simply pay a flat rate to have the property listed on MLS and have a lawyer handle the legal documents.
