Well one is straight from the manufacturer and the other is someone who is trying to resell it. Typically that doesn't work out well if the item isn't sold out or the manufacturer restocked the item.

But stockx is claiming the last sale was for $377. Yesterday they claimed they had sold one for over $800.

It's a place for resellers to sell goods. It started with shoes but now they sell other stuff like electronics.

On sale at the gap for $154.

On sale at stockx for $377.

Some people only use certain websites to buy stuff, and are too lazy to check elsewhere.
Then again, price is not the only factor to get a sale, speed of delivery, duty, is it actually in stock, reputation of website

On the other hand, the person selling for 377$, is hoping someone will pay that much, and often, they will

I useto buy products on eBay for xx$, then resell on CL for xxx$

Every now and then someone would message me "hahahahah don't you know I can buy this for xx$ on eBay?!?!?!?"

The joke was on them, because I made 200-400$net a month for 1-4hrs of labour.

So either they're gouging lazy people like donk. said, or they're lying to try and gouge people.

donk. 12-03-2022 09:49 PM

But is it really gouging when there are options available, but the user chooses ignorance?

GLOW 12-04-2022 10:10 AM

i only just heard of stockx yesterday b/c i was watching a clip of 50 cent talking about his son not following through on an online shoe reselling store and now sites like stockx blew up big

i didn't know there were websites that started out doing this type of thing

StylinRed 12-04-2022 07:09 PM

I knew ab stockx cuz my nephews are into sneakers, but what surprised me is last night I was watching some show on TV and found out its a company that began during the pandemic from Hong Kong

Razor Ramon HG 12-04-2022 10:11 PM

Nah, StockX has been around for years. I first heard about them in 2017. They're owned by Dan Gilbert, the same dude that owns the Cleveland Cavaliers.

I just picked up a pair of Home Pod Mini's from Shoppers Drug Mart. I purchased them using their "Redeem Your Points," event during Black Friday. I love these things. Great sound for their size and so many features. Damn. Everything I have is an Apple product, so it made sense to go this route. Gotta get more of them so I can play the same source throughout the house. Learning all the tips and tricks from You Tube videos, gulolol.

Never knew I could change Siri's voice. Never had a reason to. My favourite, atm, is Australian female.

Spoiler!

I am out of word..........

Was searching Shoppers Drug Mart website for air tags under electronics. All kinds of shit shows up on search that has nothing to do with air tags.

Then, I saw this............. lol. (don't click if you're............. nvm).

https://shop.shoppersdrugmart.ca/p/B...380.1670566657

at the bottom is the "Customers Also Viewed," section. I didn't find anything on breast pump, gulolol. Who was that again? I wish I can find that thread. RS at its best.

I just wanted to see what kind of Air Tag loops and holders they had in stock.

I'm really liking this Home Pod Mini. It comes with 6 months trial of Apple Music. I'm like why the hell would I get it when I have Sirius XM and Amazon Prime. Well, this Apple Music is awesome. I just ask Siri to play Arturo Sandoval. Boom, within a few nano seconds, it starts to play Arturo. I ask for, trying to stump it, "Play One O'Clock Lab Band," sure enough it finds it. Hey, Siri, Play Reggae......... done. Hey, Siri, play some nature music. Done.

WTH? For shits and giggles, I ask for pink noise............ yup, found it.

Gonna Fly Now, Scheherazade - Maynard Ferguson. Geez, is there anything this thing can't find?

Doc Severinsen, OMFG. That guy is just timeless..............

Hondaracer 12-09-2022 12:37 AM

Been using Apple Music for about 4 years now, it’s kind of the same story with all of the apple ecosystem that now I’m so locked into it I doubt I can ever change

With that said I’ve never not found a song and almost all their Audio is lossless now so k don’t really see another service being better for me. I also have it bundled with the iCloud backup and we use the family account so it’s a pretty good value

I gave a couple of those home pod minis away as gifts and while I don’t think the sound quality is quite as good as Sonos, they work infinitely easier and more streamlined with apple products than Sonos ever will

MG1 12-09-2022 01:19 AM

I've been an Apple/Mac guy forever. Since Mac Plus days. Thinking of all the models I've had over the years. Even had a Lisa. Anyway, supported them when they were about to drop off the face of the earth. Thank god Microsoft bailed them out. Apple did all the bleeding edge stuff. Microsoft knew it. With Apple gone, things would be drastically different. All you old Mac aficionado's...... remember System 6?

Razor Ramon HG 12-09-2022 02:28 AM

We used System 7 when I was in elementary. All I did was play Oregon Trail on it. Don't even know if I understood what the words meant on the screen, lol.

Hondaracer 12-09-2022 02:44 AM

That’s the Oregon trail I remember! Fuck funny you posted that video because I could never find the screen shot of that version whenever I looked up images of the game

I remember if you could finish your typing challenges you could start playing games early. If not you’d BARELY have enough time to finish the game. You’d be cruising down the river heading toward Oregon as the teacher was shutting off the lights lol

Badhobz 12-09-2022 03:22 AM

Outnumbered. You guys remember that one ?

Hondaracer 12-09-2022 03:27 AM

That character looks familiar but don’t recall the game..

How about rocket factory for the apple 2? Cases of the large floppies in the computer lab at school lol

bcrdukes 12-09-2022 06:08 AM

Has anyone ever come across a situation where you order something from Amazon and to find the package doesn't have the original factory shrink wrap and the product is missing inside?

For context, I ordered a pair of the Microsoft Surface Earbuds on Amazon.com during Cyber Monday while I was in the US. The shipment arrives, I open it up to find that the original shrink wrap was not present and the entire case and earbuds were missing.

I filed this to Amazon and went through the questions and got a return authorization with no option for them to replace it other than a refund. Curious to see how this panned out for those of you who has dealt with this before. Thanks in advance.
