ya i was going to say unless it's a tiny kitchen i thought it's usually 2 plugs, on 1 cct but it's been a while since i've looked at plans. but i have a similar setup as i only use 1 at a time.

modular housing come with their own issues, but at least they are self contained units, i can't fathom using shared facilities in an SRO.

She's still got it!

i tried this last night with two different 6 plug adapters and neither fit. when its a gfci outlet w/ the test buttons in the middle, or a usb outlet with plugs in the middle, it changes the spacing of the outlets. i guess 3 plug adapter it is.

That should work fine, my only issue with those things is when you plug in 3 heavy power cords the only thing supporting it all is the tension of the wall receptacle on the splitter's plug prongs, and they can get a little loosey goosey which can lead to bad/arcing connection (especially if the wall receptacle is a little worn out).

I like these ones a little better because they screw into the receptacle and are way more secure:

Who do you call for local, enclosed vehicle transportation? I need to transport my extremely loud vehicle for service, I don't want to drive it into Vancouver because of NOISE POLICE.

68style 01-10-2023 02:12 PM

Does it have to be enclosed for such a short distance? Just flatbed it... Canada Tow are good I use them all the time.

Just drive it. The chances of you seeing a cop, never mind one of the VI tiny PP crew is pretty low.

I drove my Mustang open headers down 3 Rd in Richmond to the exhaust shop. Doesn't get much louder :p

Just send it

Any of you guys worked on live edge wood projects before?

I'm trying to finalize some epoxy pours on my live edge wood slab but some parts are a bit tricky, particularly the edges themselves and some holes are really deep.

Any recommendations on which type or brand of tape to use? I'm afraid painters tape isn't cutting it. Thanks in advance.

Hondaracer 01-10-2023 07:21 PM

Tuck tape, the red stuff seems to be what a lot of those people who do Epoxy pours use

Be warned though it sticks to anything and sometimes leaves the red residue

bcrdukes 01-10-2023 07:37 PM

That's what I want to avoid - tape colour being left behind and staining the wood. I can sand it off, but afraid of how deep the residue will penetrate the wood.

The name of the homeless man who was allegedly swarmed and beaten in Toronto has been identified.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toron...onto-1.6708778

Defending a friend before he was attacked. What a shithole group of children...

Would not have guessed he was Asian. Between this guy and the guy that killed the RCMP officer in Burnaby this seems to turn on head the popular convention that "there aren't any Asian homeless people"

Hondaracer 01-11-2023 08:12 AM

Maybe now RS will take note?

:troll:

CivicBlues 01-11-2023 08:24 AM

Take note of what? I supposedly live on the set of the Walking Dead and I only know of one Asian guy that's visibly homeless in a part of the city where the Asian population is at least 30-40%. Everyone else who's homeless looks like they just stepped off a bus from Moose Jaw or Saguenay.

Hondaracer 01-11-2023 09:07 AM

Don’t make me report you to the reconciliation police

Badhobz 01-11-2023 03:10 PM

This FunGod is way too big for most Asians to accommodate.

^ I wonder if its success is resulting in a kind of ... 'too many options paralysis'. I went through it briefly and can't believe the number of options, everyone and their aunt is on there ... so hard to find anything.

I wonder how industry insiders and restaurant owners, chefs feel about Dine Out Vancouver?

CivicBlues 01-11-2023 05:11 PM

Haven't gone to dine out in like....10 years? It was better before, now it's just ridiculous how every mom+pop and chain is in on it.

It's like a thing you do in your 20s to flex that you've done "fine dining". But it's pretty horrible to the staff, the food served is sub-par, and the clientele it attracts are...how should I put this...more riff raff-y?

Would rather just pay full price and not deal with that BS.
