So imagine those safety drums/barrels but collapsed down into itself like those metal shot glasses that fold down flat. What I’m seeing is only a few inches tall
I’ll try and get a pic
It’s literally flat, it’s not a construction thing etc. it doesn’t catch anyone’s eye or mark it unless you’re looking for it

Woke up early, decided to go for a spin (weather be damned). Ended up in porteau cove to watch some sea lions “sing” and saw a unmarked cop pull over this tesla model Y and tow his ride. These poor Chinese kids had all their ski equipment in hand while the cop left them in porteau cove. If they were skanky fob bitches, i would have offered 1 of them a ride (can only fit 1 in the ratrolla anyways).
Currently grabbing an espresso at Isetta Cafe in West van while chatting with these BMW dudes. This place is pretty nice but the food/coffee is a bit overpriced.
arrgh you should have. as soon as i rolled up all the car dudes came out of the coffee shop and wanted to chat. What a great group of like minded enthusiasts.
I didnt even know about this place until i google mapped it this morning at like 6am.
i hate to say, as the rest of the place was so cool, but the espresso was utter crap. maybe its me, but it tasted sour... i dont think its suppose to be sour.
Sonick is a genius. I won't go into detail what's so great about his post. But it's damn good!

I mean it was pretty obvious to me he meant calling people retards, lol.
I've never heard anyone say "Bro, he dropped a hard R". People usually say "Shit, he called him a nigga with a hard R" or something like that. Then again, maybe it's because I don't have black friends, lol.

Hard Gay, saying Hard AAAAArrrrrr...................
I thought Hard R was retarded. I got called out once, by a parent of a child with mental challenges............ She was sort of nice about it.
It's really gay and retarded. Gotta love RS. I can say those words and nobody gives two shits, because everybody knows it wasn't meant to describe people who actually are retarded or gay. I mean I'm a gay guy. Always happy go lucky. It used to be such a nice word, too. The Gay Nineties..............
In my house, I call weird things gay..... like mini forks, knives and spoons. "Hey, pass me the gay fork." I wouldn't say that outside the household, because people would be so fucking confused.

Oh, I get it........ saying nigga is not the same as saying same word with emphasis on the "R"??
BTW, I've never used that word at all. It's so retarded to do so. My best friend in high school was black We were like blossom buddies. Always up to no good.
I've only seen one member on RS get banned for saying the hard C word............... He posted, "Dirty.......... "C." We're not talking Billy Butcher's fav word.........
Plus, he never called anyone that. He was referring to what other students called that segment of the population. Those fucking Burger King sandwiches...........

I had a cappuccino there last November and found it fine - it was my first time there and was distracted by the atmosphere and its car-centric theme. The bottom of the mug has a small Isetta graphic which was a nice little surprise when I finished my drink.

I'll probably hit up the place tomorrow morning and try their breakfast since I have to pick something up at Park Royal. Maybe we can do a little RS meetup there over Easter weekend or something - it's a great little spot to hang out.

Anyone know a good company to use for building a balcony roof?
Aluminum & glass patio covers?
The fob guy I used was solid and cheap. Half the price of western company for the same thing.
You gotta be able to speak Chinese tho.

Do they have a site?
I'm kind of wary dealing with "fob" service though... In the last place I had, I went that route with the help of my dad speaking fluent Chinese. After they were done, there was a poor connection at one of the roof drain pipes and it started leaking and formed ice puddles below during the winter. Even though we called them back and they said they will come back and fix it, they ghosted us multiple times. "All sales final" I guess. My dad eventually got into a shouting match with those guys over the phone and they were gone for good. lol..

Nope, no site. But us and two of my wife's aunts and uncles used them before and had no issues. But yeah it's gonna be risky if no sort of trusted referral.

Not sure if they're around still, but any issues I had, they came by to fix it. I got the contact from my neighbour.
If you do decide on a cover, make sure it is double layered, insulated one. My carport was single layer (didn't know any better) and when it snows, condensation forms and drips. Not a leak, but it's not great. The patio is covered with double layer and it does not leak at all.
I also had them install at glass cover over the door at the side of the house. It's perfect for those who want to stay dry while smoking outside, lol. I quit smoking decades ago, btw. Been smoking longer than most of you have been alive. Such a fucking filthy habit.

Yeah I’m sure it was because of speeding. I was up in porteau cove at 7:30am so these poor kids got pulled over at 7ish am on a Saturday. Those west van cops are always super aggressive and just waiting around lions bay.

Freaking hell............ took me forever to change all the clocks and watches around the house and even the car.
Dashcams, trailers, garage, every nook and cranny in the house. I have to have a clock in every room. I'm obsessed with knowing what time it is. Now that I have all these HomePod Minis, you'd think I could get rid of the clocks. Middle of night when eyes, can't open. "Hey Siri, what's the time?"
Another weird fact............... a lot of kids nowadays cannot read an analog clock. Like W-T-F????
Thank allah computers, phones and shit automatically adjust the time. I have two atomic clocks that I never have to touch, except to change the batteries.
