Woah I just realized I signed up to RS 20 years ago last week. It just seemed like yesterday I joined because I was looking for rims for my 02 Civic.

Any recommendations for a cheap tire shop that does decent work? Friend is needing to swap onto Summers from Winters on the same set of wheels.

The shop I used before charged $25/30 per corner but now wants $50!

Costco used to only charge $20 but they don’t do tires not purchased from them anymore I believe

Think he'll do just a straight wheel swap as well? Feels like it's time to swap out my winters :D

I don't know how much they charge for just a tire swap, but give Overdrive a call? Justin or Wesley should be able to help you. They deal with all my big wheel and tire problems.

any recommendation for phone cracked screen repair
my phone glass shattered...
I see people selling service for $40~60 off FB Marketplace, but I'm not sure if they are legit pros or some kid just following YouTube instructions...

I've always went to Crystal Mall, there are a few phone repair shops, go around and ask for quote and go to best one.

i found ECC cell repair in crystal mall to be pretty good. i like the younger guy that runs the place and does repairs...no bitchy attitude and actually knows what he's doing like some of the other places there.

i think they recently moved from 1 storefront to another in the mall.

Update .. honestly amazing. Just went up and down the aisle and 20% off even items on sale, what would have been $120 down to like $80!!

Just got back from watching John Wick 4.

Yeah................... I'm thinking it was intense.

One word, "Overkill."

If you went in expecting John Wick things, yeah, it had that and lots of it.

Badhobz 03-25-2023 09:35 PM

Is it good though ?

I enjoyed it. Donnie Yen is fantastic in it and the action is great. It doesn't have the same core (you killed my dog) that the first did but it's still good fun despite being nearly 3 hours long.

N.V.M. 03-26-2023 12:36 PM

John Wick — a kill on average every 1 minute and 18 seconds (across its 101-minute runtime).

John Wick: Chapter 2 — a kill on average every 57 seconds (across 122 minutes).

John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum - a kill on average every 1 minute and 23 seconds (across 130 minutes).

Chapter 4 - ?

MG1 03-26-2023 02:14 PM

Yeah................... I'm thinking 10 kills a minute.

Some breaks here and there. The end. Just one.

I rolled my eyes to the point they seemed like they were stuck.

The fighting scenes were well done. Seamless.

As a product of one child policy this really speaks to my generation. Yikes.

Have anyone of you guys have stink bugs at home? Lately I've been getting a few a night, and have had to zap them dead when I see them. I have no clue how they even get in because door is sealed shut and windows never opened.

I've only seen two last year, inside. They are everywhere else. Garden shed, storage chests, etc. They fly, so they get in when you have the door open for a split second. They can get into really tight spaces. Between plastic panels I had stored in the backyard. Although they look rather large, their bodies are relatively flat. Vile creatures, they are.

Never had issues with them until last year. Now they're part of our environment. Some asshole brought them over from somewhere, I bet. They kind of remind me of replicators from Stargate SG-1.

SkinnyPupp 03-27-2023 03:47 AM

I didn't start seeing stinkbugs until I moved here.. They come every spring (have seen a few already) and they love to try laying eggs in our screen door, and then lay on the balcony to die. I guess the eggs stick to them really easily.

How do I know they're stinkbug eggs? One year we let them hatch, and a bunch of cute little tiny stinkbugs came out LUL

Also they don't really stink at all.. Smells kind of like apple pie actually.

We (lower mainland) had an infestation last summer/fall and municipalities were cautioning ppl that they'd be entering our homes to hibernate for the winter so be on the lookout

If you have a chimney they're likely in there, supposedly that's a favourite location for them

Had our heating virtually off when we left in October but came back to a house with several stink bugs hibernating and a couple would appear every couple weeks since
