No white. Right after I posted I did end up selling it.
Wanna talk about baller. Just found out about this. This was on Vancouver Island.
This Rolls Royce was custom fitted with wheels that would sit on train tracks so that Mayo Singh could visit various work sites around his mill (c.1930–45).
Mayo Singh’s Speeder
That probably makes him the first person to fit huge rims on a Rolls. What an OG.

Next to the Sikh temple in Paldi Japanese workers build a wooden building that was used as a Buddhist temple.
Quote:
Paldi, a multi-cultural community, has historic value in part for being the location of the 1917 Mayo Lumber Company sawmill which employed many Japanese Canadian workers. Having worked with Japanese Canadian men, mill owner Mayo Singh recruited them specifically for the new Paldi mill. During the height of the local logging industry in the 1920s and '30s, almost 20 Japanese families lived in Paldi and worshipped in the Japanese Temple, while the Japanese School was held in the local Japanese Canadian cultural hall.
The cemeteries with Japanese Canadian burial areas in Chemainus and Duncan have spiritual value as a reminder of the desecration, disuse and tragic interruption of the lives and history of the Japanese Canadians in these communities. The Chemainus Cemetery now contains a monument to the Japanese Canadians who were buried there. Today, these cemeteries are stops on the annual Vancouver Island Obon tour hosted by the B.C. Jodo Shinshu Buddhist Temples Federation.
Like other Japanese Canadians on the B.C. coast, the residents and workers in Duncan, Paldi and Chemainus were incarcerated in internment camps in 1942 during World War II, with properties and businesses sold, buildings dismantled and cemeteries desecrated. Due to these losses, most did not return to the Cowichan area; today these towns carry few physical traces of the early Japanese Canadian communities that existed there.

You Indians are quite Musical. Us chinese fuckers don’t really care too much for music. I hardly see or hear Chinese kids blasting any music from their rides. Most of the time the radio is off even hahaha.

I’m way too old. Dislike this kinda cultural appropriation. At least the Indians play their own shit, fireballs, turning lightbulbs, rubber maid gloves and all.

I respect that. you guys never worry about adopting / integrating into other cultures. You very much embrace your own and give zero shits about anything else.

The guys where just students. AP worked in Victoria installing siding on houses. In the last year or so they did sold out tours in India, England and did a North American arena tour.
A guy I know sold AP his house in Victoria. He told me there are 3 things a student from India want's to do when he gets to Canada. Get an education, get there PR (permanent resident) and release a song. A big industry has built up around this. A song with video will cost 20 to 30K plus no talent required. You have recording studio's and producers all over Canada. A standard 1 day video should will cost you 10 to 15K.
