If I'm flush with cash then I'll just go new and get it exactly the way I want and maybe even go to Germany to get it. If not, I'll be perfectly happy with something used.

re: Boxster - that GTS tickled me more than the 992S manual I drove the year before and the 992 is no slouch. It lit up the right parts of the brain - as close to perfect for me as I've experienced.

You can probably forget about doing Euro Delivery on the car. I was planning that as well after the amazing experience with BMW, but I have been told by multiple people getting a slot for Euro Delivery is almost as hard as getting a GT car. Unless the stars align perfectly you won't get a ED as a 1st time buyer.

I beg to differ, market prices of these cars and luxury tax make it easy for me to get ED :okay:

Badhobz 05-10-2023 04:37 PM

Are we taking about erectile disfunction here or European Delievery ? Either way it makes my dick soft.

Yup, just talked to my sales guy this afternoon and he said only VVIPs can get it and even then it depends on the car because it affects their margins. Was also told that I need to put $20k of options on the car if I'm gonna get "selected" for a 718. For a 911 you need to put on $35k of options.

re: Leasing and luxury taxes - it makes no diff in total taxes paid. I still end up paying the same amount but just at different times.

I was thinking throughout all these posts that this sounds a lot like Rolex.. And this story, including the "VVIP" seals it

The Official No Need To Start a New Thread, Thread

Is this the greatest flex in the history of Australia? :considered:

What’s being dubbed the greatest flex in Australian history, millionaire property and LMCT+ raffle magnate Adrian Portelli has craned his McLaren Senna GTR racecar into his newly acquired $39 million Melbourne penthouse.

The $2.6 million McLaren Senna GTR is 1 of 3 examples currently in the southern hemisphere and 1 of 75 available globally. It produces more than 800HP and is winged-out with more than 1000kg of downforce and a DRS system (similar to an F1 car) that helps the Senna GTR reach a top speed of 340km/h. Due to strict ADR rules, the car cannot be registered for road use, only adding to the flex.

In a statement on his Instagram, Portelli explains the flex, “The McLaren was sitting in a factory and I can’t drive it on the road so I decided to have it craned up there instead, it’s now an art piece.”

Living its life at the racetrack as a track toy for millionaires, it seems Portelli purchased the car for an undisclosed sum, took it to the racetrack, did a few shed skids, and then installed it in his penthouse. “

Search up local flower shops in your area, many offer online buy and delivery.
I've used several shops without issues. Click, click, click, the gf has flowers the next day at work

If it is local ... go to your nearby Safeway, Save-On, etc. and hand deliver them. Ordering online for delivery makes it like 4x the actual cost!

They're not cheap but they are fantastic - I woo'd my wife with them. Now she gets Costco flowers instead. Delivery charges are pretty reasonable.

Costco hands down no questions asked it the best place to buy flowers from. That's always my go to and they are the freshest and super cheap for the size of the bouquet you get compared to anywhere else.

I think if you’re serious they will let you test them. But likely you will need a deposit on one before they capitulate

Reporting back, you can test drive any of the cars including 992 GT3 but you need to submit an offer with "a subject to test drive". Aka pass credit check or show you have $$$ in the bank first.

:awwyeah:, no bueno for me today
