I have a TCL 6 series - only had it for a year but it works well enough. The Google TV app can be a bit flaky but that's Google's fault. Image quality is good.

I have a TCL TV the wifey has been using in the master for almost 4 years to the day. It has been fine without issue. Originally the only reason we bought it was based on the room we were only able to mount a 32 inch because any bigger it would have touched the closet doors and there were not a ton of options for 32 inch TVs at that point other than these Chinese brands. No regrets so far it has served it's purpose. The only thing is every once in a while when we turn it on it doesn't connect to the internet and we'll have to go to settings search the network and reconnect. Takes less than 30 secs and doesn't happen often enough to be annoying. For your purpose I would consider.

You could also look at https://openbox.ca/collections/tv-home-audio . I bought a 46 inch Samsung TV from here 9 years ago and it's still going hella strong.

Rest in Peace, Tina Turner.

She passed away at the age of 83 in Switzerland.

-to quote from her song, she was simply "The Best". -better than all the rest.

Is t that the same dealership that some guys held up with guns and gave the police a chase over several cities earlier in the year?

To avoid disappointment, arrive as early as possible. Historically, people will come and go, but depending on how they organize their lot, parking spaces are "generally" limited. The weather looks good this weekend too.

I'm going to the cars and coffee event in Burlington at the Hagerty Garage with the PCA UCR group this Saturday.

Yarrg!! organized Porsche owners are often too pretentious for my liking. They are more insufferable than Ferrari owners & lam-bros

I much rather go to a civic meat.

I haven't even gotten a Porsche yet and I'm like that.

BTW: Got to drive the Emira today. Nice car - beautiful styling and the ride quality is very, very, very impressive. Lovely steering, rotates great as you'd expect a mid-engine car to. Engine is pretty coarse and not particularly rev-happy and I didn't really like the shifter (a bit vague, went into 5th instead of 3rd a couple times). Pedal placement is very tight which I liked - easy to heel/toe but if you're a size 10+ I think you'll find it confining. Great car but not for me - I'll stick with blowing the money on a Boxster.

Can't buy a new Porsche because you gotta be good enough to be a customer.

Can't show up at the Porsche meet because they won't have a parking spot for you.

The fuck is the point of owning one of these cars if you don't want to turn into a giant douche lol

I lol'd. Hilarious.
I too prefer Civic and VW meats.

I'll come between 930-10 and if they have a spot great, if not, I will just do a bert stare as I pass through and then drive home.

I’ve never met a 997+ gen owner that I liked. Older 911 owners are fine. Genuinely car guys. These modern ones are just douche incarnate.

Half the time they are talking about their stock options and summer homes. Shut the fuck up.

I have a weird issue with AliExpress. For anyone that have used it before, getting a refund on items can be somewhat of a process if you actually need to return the item. (Majority of the time, if there's an issue with the item, you can submit proof and just get your money back and keep the item.)

So I'm trying to return something which requires a process of negotiation with the seller and AE stepping in to mediate because me and the seller basically got into a dispute, I won the case and will get a full refund as long as I return the item.

The thing is, they don't have to send a free return shipping label (like Amazon) and AE is basically telling me to pay the return shipping fee out of my own pocket first, then they will reimburse me afterward, through my credit card.

The main question I'm asking is, can they refund more money than I initially spent? Like negative credits on my CC? Because the money I'm paying to ship the item back will be paid to Canada Post, not AE... So they can reverse charge what I initially bought from AE, but can they reverse charge my shipping fee that wasn't even paid to them in the first place?

AE live chat is telling me it's possible. But everything seems so sus now.

after buying a house im in no position to buy another car anytime soon, but just humour me since i have space to store an extra one now. if one was to pick an under 25k car with hopes of getting collector plates on it one day, what would be a pretty no nonsense option that would be fun to drive as a weekender? something 15-20y is ok, what would you guys pick?

Legit question, but does the car have to be practical? Three more years and my Boxster is eligible for collector plates.

I'd track down a 2006 Launch Edition Miata or a 2009/2010 Competition Yellow Miata for that kind of money.

This 2006 is in Edmonton with low miles for $18k: https://www.autotrader.ca/a/mazda/mx...x=-1&modalXS=1

https://www.autotrader.ca/a/mazda/mx...%202N7&sprx=-1

Five years ago I almost pulled the trigger on one of these for about $11k so it seems like prices are going up on them. A minty very low mileage one was also available for $15k at the time.

Two more submissions ... you didn't give too many parameters like no this or no that, manual or auto (since it's a weekend fun toy, I went with manual) but here goes:

2001 BMW 330ci, 138K kms, $11,500, manual

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/bnc...623344104.html

2004 BMW Z4, 98K kms, manual, $20K
