Someone leaked the 2024 GX - looks like Japan's version of the Defender / G Wagon which is pretty neat.

Yup I wish I hadn't seen it

What gets me is her girlfriend tried to save her instead of running away, and died for it. That gives me so much melancholy to think about. Hearing about it is one thing, but seeing her desperately trying to save her girlfriend who is getting stabbed dozens of times is just mind destroying.

BTW the attack last night looks like a copycat, except slashing instead of stabbing her. A guy bought two knifes, and went after a random woman. She had cuts on her leg and arms, and he escaped. This happened about an hour before my wife commuted through there :heckno:

Reminds me of the one I saw in Australia last year.

IIRC two dudes were fighting when one of them pulls out a knife. The victim keeps on taunting the other dude thinking it's a bluff. Obviously he gets stabbed in the neck and then falls over and bleeds to death in like a matter of seconds.

TX is ugly, GX looks quite interesting and a good departure from their traditional norms.

Still hate the new UI in all the lexusususus/toyota products. I think the old one is actually easier to use and you can split screen. This new one is so bland looking and poorly integrated with this big ugly slab of a tablet. Thanks for ruining automotive design Tesla! now all these idiots are following your stupid tablet idea.

Look at what those idiots did to my ratrolla.. That bezel is a joke

SkinnyPupp 06-08-2023 07:54 PM

I wonder what watch that guy is wearing... Oris Pro Pilot? Coin edge bezel can't be too common right? And it looks like a big boi

Klondike 06-08-2023 08:31 PM

GX styling inside and out is another home run by Toyota. The boxy proportions are on point.

Would love to see the LM make it over here. Been seeing more Hiaces and Alphards lately.

StylinRed 06-08-2023 09:30 PM

And I was impressed already by the new Prius! Toyotas on a roll

So we're going camping this weekend, and because of the campfire ban, am borrowing a gas fire pit thing from a friend...but they said they need the propane tank.

Is there a way to borrow/rent the tank? Don't really want to spend $80 on a tank that I have no use for ever again, nor somewhere to keep it.

If it matters, it's Cultus, and they list "propane exchange" at $36.99, but I assume that means I need to bring a tank of my own to exchange for a full one?

For a exchange you need to bring your own that's less than 10 years old or you can buy a full one from them.

Manic! 06-09-2023 03:34 AM

This has to be fake but it is blowing up everywhere.

Can you beg/borrow/steal a tank from a friend or family? That's pretty much the only way. If you're in North Burnaby DM me.

He is a Punjabi singer who did a North American Arena tour last year selling out rogers arena. he also did main stage Coachella this year.

I find it funny that Taylor Swift who is worth close to a billion dollars would be eating at Cactus with normal people.

A ton of Indian media outlets are covering this.

His song with Tory Lanez

Badhobz 06-09-2023 09:48 AM

StylinRed 06-09-2023 10:04 AM

I thought tay tay (god can't believe I typed that) was hooking up with Alonso

68style 06-09-2023 10:17 AM

You so out of date, she was with that Matt Healy guy again... but now they broke up again too apparently.

She's voracious! Good on her tho, not like any guy celebrities ever have to hear anything about their shenanigans.

I'm in Vancouver if you want to borrow a tank. Just take it to Superstore at Grandview or the petrocan at 54th and Kerr and pay to fill it. it's ~$20 a fill last year.

westopher 06-09-2023 06:49 PM

In North van if you want a tank too. I have two for the bbq and fire table so no stress to be without one for a bit

inv4zn 06-11-2023 10:15 PM

Big thanks everyone, by pure luck I found a ratty old one at work at one of the yards we have, and traded that one in. Pretty sure it's way older than 10 years, but the guy didn't seem to care lol.

but of course it rained most of the weekend...lol
