I think the way I tell it makes it sound worse than it was.. lol

And I also think the reaction of me turning it down completely, even though I was kind of voluntold as I said, would have been worse than me leaving after my obligation was filled lol

I recall that some of your views and comments about vaccines to be in the anti-vaccine camp ... so you would have been among friends of your tribe.

I'm godfather to my brother's kids. I wasn't asked nor did I go to church. I just saw it on some paperwork and was like 'ok'.

But seeing as we are now at the point where my brother was recently diagnosed with Type II, orders 2 filet o'fishes anyway, while my niece asks him if he's going to die (in the way only a 12 year old goth kid can), I can't help but remember my title.

Also, because it's July!

Spoiler!

My mom was Protestant. Then she went catholic because they seem to be having a better time with the drinking and the fancy hats. So she was like one of the few Chinese Catholics and her and the old Italians ladies have a great time Bonding over cooking and food. Also their mutual disappointment with their sons.

As Mg1 used to say…. God bless !!!

P.s I got kicked out of Chinese church for laughing at a sermon. They told me to leave.

Is 5 hours × $140/hour a reasonable rate to install coilovers?
Does not include alignment or corner balancing for that price.

I'm with Honda on this.

I'm a god parent too but my family isn't religious in the slightest, but my sister put them through Catholic school and all that crap to get them disciplined.

Like him I don't go to church but had to sit through a boring ass 1 hour sermon where the priest (who sounded like a pedophile I might add) proceeded to insert his little cookies into each of the kid's mouths, telling them to "Swallow Christ".

Not only that the damn ceremony was in the summer and it was 30C in that stupid church.

Fuck all that crap, I don't wanna be there either, we couldn't wait to dip ourselves outta there

One can be a godfather but not subscribe to some silly church service.

I’ll sign an oath to take care of the kid if I really had to, but same shit the pastor at this church is a “young” “hip” guy and he was giving off madddd pedo vibes.

Imo anyone in a position of power like that, especially in an influential church like west van etc. has blood on their hands.

My wife’s family had this one pastor who was essentially a family friend to the parents, he would come to dinners and shit. The hard pressed pastor had a brand new X5 and designer clothes. Dollars to donuts this guy had his hand in a fair share of abuse and pedopheila.

Depends on the car. I did mine in 2 hours, so if you want it done for an e36 bring it on over haha.

I feel that's a bit on the excessive side in terms of hours. Surely, a trained experienced mech can do it quicker. 5 hrs .. that's over an hour a corner ??!! Assuming it's a shop with lift and power tools. Sometimes shops go with a standard 'book' rate and just go by that whether it takes them 3 or 5 ... which I don't agree with. They should just charge you the real time. (Disclosure, not a mechanic so I could be blowing smoke out of my arse.)

When I parted that E46, I was so surprised at how easy it was, to drop the knuckles off the struts.

What temp do you y'all set your ac's to at home? Noticed everyone sets it at 17 - 21C but the recommendation is 22 - 25C.

No such thing as a recommendation dawg

From Hong Kong? > 26
From Vancouver? > 22

Want to save 10$ / month? > Raise it a degree. this is a general number for a condo, before you home owners start raging that your paying 300$/month to keep your house cool

When I was younger it was as cold as possible, but I leave it at 22-23 nowadays just so the transition between indoors/outdoors is more comfortable.

On another note, anyone here know a salesperson at Audi Boundary they can refer me?

We set ours around 23-24. I've noticed that getting down to 22 or lower runs the AC significantly longer especially on warmer days like today such that it's not worth the trouble (23 is comfy anyways). I'd like to be lower during sleeping hours as lower temps result in better sleep quality but I also don't want to be running the AC a lot when I'm sleeping so I just live with 23 most of the day.

at my old place it would be 23.5 year round and honestly it usually felt too cold.
idk how ppl would set theirs to 17C or even 20C.

I've been 20 - 21C this entire time but I'm worried that it'd be bad for the A/C to be on and working for almost 20 hours a day. 22 - 23C feels luke warm but the A/C actually turns off every hour or so. Y'all leave it on to maintain the temperature when you leave during the day? Otherwise you come home and it's 27-30C inside and it takes 2-3 hours to cool.

Usually 23, but yesterday evening I went to 22. Usually turn it off overnight, and back on around noon, but have left it on the past 24 hours.

I've been too busy / lazy to set up the AC at home so far, but I am very much surprised by how quickly the bedrooms cool down in the evening when I use a window fan to blow outside air in.

It is probably still 26 - 27ºC indoors by the time we finish dinner at ~8pm. But by 9pm with the window fans blowing in outside air, the rooms would cool right down to something in the 23 - 24ºC range, and we're fairly comfortable with that.

The only problem is -- running just the fan doesn't work until the outdoor temperatures drop.
