Always 22, main floor is cold as fuck and upstairs is hotter than I'd like lol. Even when it's stupid hot outside we're usually on the couch with blankets middle of summer.

I adjusted my vents this spring so that both floors are within about a degree of each other but now that we have tenants downstairs who generate a fair bit of heat it's actually warmer downstairs than upstairs - it's often 25-26 downstairs when it's 22-23 upstairs - but my tenants don't mind at all and seem to like it that warm (they've declined our offers to open up the vents). They're Brits from the coast so maybe they've been so cold that it's nice to have some warmth for a change.

I’m currently a passenger in a hydrogen vehicle for the first time. Toyota Mirai for an Uber.

That is all.

We've set our AC to 24 all around the house, and it sometimes gets a little cold. Today is the first day I had to turn it on in my office as the ceiling fan didn't suffice.

I'm not sure how I survived before with no AC....

Or maybe when the air is moving it feels cooler but we’ve gotta set our bedroom ac to like 19 to be cool enough to be comfortable

No, my office is typically 26C but I have a ceiling fan. The kids' rooms are set to 24/25C and the living room is set to 24C. We typically don't turn on the living room AC until something like 2pm when it gets up to like 26/27C in the house. And even then it's more a function of dead air being very stuffy than it being particularly hot.

I don't think an AC's setting always corresponds directly to the air temperature... Like if it takes a setting of 24 to be comfortable, maybe the air where you are is more around 22. Simple machines don't even have temp settings, just a scale of 1-10.. I find a setting just below 6 to be the best overnight.

I see neighbours who just keep their windows open and use fans all summer.. Yeah it saves money but holy shit that must suck

My room reads 26 degrees with 47% humidity right now. It's a little warm, but comfortable.

I think at 28 it would be pretty hot.

I wonder if that's the case with my mini splits, but my wall thermostats are reading pretty close to where I set the machines at.

There's a air quality health warning out so we shut all the windows and turned on the living room AC early today at 11am. So bougie

Anyone know of a local PCB manufacturer that can produce small batches of PCBs (say 5 of them) before I decide to go with something overseas like JLCPCB

What's the wire size for washer and dryer? 10/3 for dryer and 12/2 for washer? Or is it 14/2 for washer?

10-3 for dryer. Washers use standard 15A receptacle, so 14-2 is fine, but upsizing to 12-2 doesn't hurt.

12/2 doesn't hurt because newer machines are starting to demand it? Or it's new code? I have enough 14/2 on hand but not 12/2, so if 95% of the machines that I might buy can use 14/2, then I'd rather use that.

Just go with something like PCBWAY. They are dirt cheap and fast. Anything local will cost you way more.

Second this.

We just don't have a market here in BC or even Canada as a whole. We are not exactly known for being an electronics powerhouse that can support a retail PCB shop. Even if you could find one, they are going to charge an arm and leg because they probably have a quasi-monopoly market here.

If you were in Taiwan/Korea/Japan, then that's another topic. They have many small/unknown companies/startups that form the supply chain to many other large electronic companies and you'd be able to find whatever you need at a highly competitive price.

I ended up just submitting my order to JLCPCB. Was cheaper than PCBWAY and significantly cheaper than what Enigma Interconnect (local) quoted me.

I'm not an engineer, so not too familiar with the industry locally.
