That's basically the blueprint when you royally fuck up at work and your job is on the line, say you have a problem and need help putting the onus on the employer to put you in a program and keep your job. |
Okay guys, theoretical question time -- I am working on a project and coming up with questions to ask someone who is saying their seatbelt failed on their vehicle and taking this complaint from them with a mind toward their possibly being a recallable issue with it. Any brainstorms for questions to ask the complainant? Some ideas I had that could be factors: - What type of vehicle does the person have and what trim level/options/features does it have - Is there an existing reacall for this vehicle - Was this vehicle purchased in Canada or out of country - Was the vehicle in an accident before, if so what type - Have the seatbelts ever been recalled before - Was the person wearing anything that day that might have hit the unlock button - Has the person worn anything that might have caused the seatbelt to fray - Are they sure they buckled it properly or did they notice any warning chimes or flashing seatbelt lights Anyone got other interesting ideas or questions or information resources that might be relevant? |
- how much did the driver/person weight? - what exactly was happening when it failed ... were you stopped, going steady, accelerating, sudden braking, etc.? |
- Does the manufacturer state the belts should have been inspected at some point due to age? iirc my 97 Prelude had a thing saying you're supposed to have them reinspect the belts every 10 years but I've never seen that on anything else. |
I would ask how/why they think it "failed". Maybe i Like were they in a crash and it didn't lock? If so, does the car have a pre-tensioner? |
A couple more I thought of, have the belts ever been removed, disassembled or modified in any way? Have they been cleaned with a method that goes against the manufacturers instructions? What about the seats? Are the seats and belts original to the car? Is there any debris in the mechanisms? |
All very good suggestions lads, thank you |
Hiyashi Somen (Japanese Cold Noodles). Having some right now. Perfect for hot summer days........... https://www.lafujimama.com/hiyashi-somen/ On occasion, I make the mentsuyu from scratch, but only if the kids come over. As a widower and basically on my own, I resort to using store bought ones. I do, however, add my own ingredients to it, like hayani kombu (kelp), chopped onions, and shiitake mushrooms. On the side or on top of the noodles, kizami shoji, chopped green onions, and seaweed salad (from Costco). I get my kizami shoji from Darumaya in Richmond, but it's too far away and dangerous. I googled the stuff and found another place that carries it. https://morefoodsmart.com/products/momoya-kizami-shoga. Nice! The kizami shoga is like no other ginger out there. Seasoned and in oil. Chopped, not grated or a past. So, so good. Somen I get from Yokoyaya (Kims Mart). Available just about everywhere else, btw. I only get the ones from Japan. Why on earth would you get ones from anywhere else? Anyway, somen is very easy to make. Just don't overcook them and make sure they are chilled in ice water overnight. I used to use traditional zaru for presentation, but can't find it. Here's a really easy to clean, plastic alternative. From Oomomo. https://www.oomomostore.com/products...e-bk-be-022318 BTW, cold soba is very popular, but somen does it for me. |
Awww come on pops, you can’t post that without a picture of your work. Show it off !!! |
I've had a lifetime of showing off............I'm over it. If I made it for others, then I'd worry about making it all nice. |

Also my mom and I prefer Some too but we haven't seen it available at t&t or hmart recently it's been soldout (I guess due to the port strike?) |

I don't know much about TVs but with everything being equal I would buy from Costco instead of Bestbuy. https://www.costco.ca/samsung-85%22-...000161202.html |

In Burnaby, there's Suzuya beside the historical museum and Kim's mart beside Edmonds skytrain station I went to Sakuraya a few weeks ago and they have a lot of stock, plus reduced to clear items in the back. Think I ended up spending around $60 bucks in junk food lol. |

The only thing you have to look out for is the dirty screen effect (DSE) on these panels when you get it. Mine has a bit of DSE. I watch a lot of hockey, so it's a little noticeable because sometimes some parts of the ice might be darker. Can't complain too much though, I got the TV for $1000, lol. |

^ yah man ... are your old Asian squinty eyes getting that old and bad? I have no idea what an 85" TV even looks like in real life in terms of size. I'm thinking 65" is monstrous enough. |
I’ve never had such a big ass tv before either. Curious how my lesbian scat porn is gonna look on such a big screen The new place has this cut out on top of the fireplace and if I don’t fill it with a 85 inch tv, it’ll have this ugly looking gap. This stand that the current owner used is staying. It looks kinda weak too, although it does hold up their 85 TV. https://i.postimg.cc/8PfXBR27/IMG-6531.jpg |
You could get a suntan with a TV that big. |
I’d probably get a better mount. The 3 way Costco one is very good for the price, I don’t know if you’ll really find one better |
Make sure the room has enough depth for a TV that big. My inlaws went from a 55 to an 85 and at first left the couch in the same spot. It was borderline unwatchable that close up. |
^ so now he's showing off how big his TV/Entertainment room is. GTFO of here with your boomer materialism. :lol Quote:
