Bottom line, if you care how your paint looks long term you're not using a public carwash with brushes. Silver will hide it better but under the right light you're going to see the scratches and swirls sooner than later especially if you're going weekly. Darker paints it's going to be even worse. Don't judge a carwash by the expensive cars you see going though it, these people either don't give a shit or it's a lease and who cares it's going back after 3-4 years. So yeah, if it's a daily and you just want it to look clean from 10 feet away go ahead. If you want the paint to look great 5+ years down the road go with touchless and then hand wash it a handful of times a year. I've had my black 2014 F150 since new and it looks better than most trucks that are only a couple years old. I've spent probably hundreds of hours on car detailing sites over the years and probably thousands on car care products over the last 20 years. I don't have the time that I used to to detail my vehicles like when I was younger but the knowledge is still there lol. |
I've been going for about a month and have been going to Shine Auto wash for at least five years. No issues. And, it's a black car. Cheap cars look better in the shade............... wait............. |

Is Scotties tissues more popular in Canada? Is that our brand now? Does Scotties have a monopoly on facial tissues? |

I’ve badhob’d myself numerous times to the disappointment of the wife. gone Kirkland for most key items in the household now - used to buy nestle bottled water. Kirkland now - used to buy Kleenex or Scotties. Kirkland now - used to buy Carmin or royale. Kirkland now - Tylenol ? Try Kirkland bitch same with aspirin |
FYI Kleenex brand itself will be discontinued in Canada shortly so Kirkland is the most logical choice :D Ditto on Tempo. So good. |

RIP Bob Barker. One of my core childhood memories is getting to watch the Price Is Right whenever I stayed home sick from school. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna42292 |

Oh trust me I don’t wanna go but I’m morally obligated to do so (I’ve known the brides family for 20 years+). Celebrations of happiness are not my thing. I much rather go their divorce party as these two clowns got all the makings of a spontaneous, but ultimately stupid, relationship. She makes all the money. The other guy is a piece of shit chump who doesn’t even work and smokes crack. We all told her he’s a piece of shit but she’s a real dumb ass. |

Those clowns are gonna cost me 400+ dollars too. Sigh…. I better make back my money in hilariousness by hitting on all the bridesmaids in the most obscene way possible. Or just start singing like the wedding singer from the hangover. |
It must be karma or something. I was lying on the floor playing with my dog and I dropped my heavy ass brick of a phone on my face. Hurt like a bitch. https://youtube.com/shorts/_G7z__xzS...LKuSkl7BIb015A |

Are all BMW stud conversion kits the same? Amazon kits are so cheap, and prime shipping means I can get it much quicker. |
No they definitely aren't, but that's not to say some of the high dollar ones aren't shit and the cheap ones aren't good. I'm 9 years on my macht schnell set and they are great. |
Getting excited for Halloween! |
Looks like Valley Bakery is still open. Under new management or something like that. Drove past it on Saturday on the way home from the PNE. It reminds me of those furniture stores that advertise, "going out of business sale," but never go out of business, lol. My daughter was telling me the quality of their baked goods were going downhill for a while now. Anyway, I have no interest in that place anymore. Cleaning out my drawers, and stumbled upon a super old pair of Apple in-ear headphones from like 15 years ago. They sounded great when I got them and they still sound great today. https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZzsANU6eB...640/ADDIEM.jpg Feels kind of great being able to just plug these into my iPhone and they work without charging. Compared to AirPods and other wireless earbuds, there is no planned obsolescence contributing e-waste to landfills, and granted the wiring is good, they'll work forever. |
