Ngl the education system now is so different from 20-30 years ago. No letter grades come on man ... forcing all that pride crap on young minds in the classroom. My kids will have my permission to excuse themselves from the class.

I love Disneyland/World - went as an adult 15 years ago and was skeptical about it but had a total blast. Sure, it's super expensive but they do an amazing job of entertaining you. It's way better than Universal's parks.

Truly takes you away from the real world and the attention to detail is really impressive.

The wife of one of my best friends shares like 20 of these photos every year. As a matter of fact, any type of birthday, half birthday (yeah they celebrate those as well), camping trip or holiday your looking at easily 40-60 photos shared and most holidays include props and costume changes, my wife and I both cringe every time.

I take one annual preplanned photo with my son, it's his first football game of the year and that's tomorrow I cannot wait! My wife takes more photo's but she isn't sharing them with the world lol.

There's a big discussion about that now... like kids don't give their permission to have their photos spread all over social media... I think a few photos here and there is no big deal, but I don't know how any of us would feel if our entire life had been documented online from birth. Seems like some privacy should be in order.

The ones that kill me are the friends who literally become their child... like they change their profile picture to their baby's photo and they're never in any of the photos anymore.

I can see the future lawsuits of people in their 20s trying to sue their rich parents for the pain and suffering of their birthday parties being posted on Facebook in 2007. This has California written all over it

Their branding/theming is unparalleled and the “magic” they put out is really somthing. The cast members everywhere are actually competent and amazing and every interaction with virtually anyone working there. I was kind of skeptical given when I went I was a young kid but it’s still just as magical if not moreso now with what they’ve done

You do spend a lot of time on your phone now with the way they do their app but there isn’t really a way to remedy that.

Also, staying at the Disneyland hotel is themed and kept up better than any all-inclusive I’ve ever stayed at, definitely adds to the experience if you want to splurge

It’s also infinitely more enjoyable to go with only adults as opposed to dragging whining kids around all day long lol.

I actually ended up dumping about 5k into Disney stock yesterday as I was so impressed with the experience. Although their marvel universe movies are definitely a concern lol
