Any recommendations?

A colleague told me about 24/7 parcel, but apparently they charge you if you don't pick it up within a week. I'm not sure when i'll be able to pick up right now.

I go In/Out in Point Roberts. It's two weeks holding before additional fees.

Thanks, but looking at Blaine because my parents go once a month so they were going to pick it up for me.

She’s frantically trying to start the car. There’s about eight cars behind her. Nobody’s offering to help. I go over and try to help get it started. It wasn’t a dead battery. Healthy cranking, but no start. So, I get her to put it in neutral and start to push. That’s when I realized I’m not young anymore. I had to get others to help push. Short of dragging people out of their cars, I got the driver behind her to help. Only after I told him, nobody’s going home unless we get her car out of the way. Damn, the car was like a tank, weight wise. After we struggled to get the car across to a safe location I saw a second guy on the other end. This guy looked like a linebacker. Can’t imagine how we moved the car that far (30 feet), lol. Anyway, by this time, there was about twelve or so cars in the line up. Nobody getting out of their cars. At least no honking. What’s with people these days.

On a side note, nuggets were okay, but the onion rings………… so freaking bad. I want my money back!

If a car in front of me is stuck, with people visibly pushing the car to move it out of the way, the least any sensible person is to come out and take a look. The dead car is blocking their own damn way! If you are a 5' tall spy balloon, then OK -- I can see how you may not be the most physically suitable person to help. But 90% of the average male driver would have no problem helping with a little push.

:failed:

I've offered to help people in the snow and I got looked at like a weirdo. I've stopped being as helpful as before. I'm not sure if it's because of Covid that ppl are being more recluse, or just that I'm in east van instead of Burnaby and the Fraserview neighbourhood just has less camaraderie.

This happened to me the year before too.

I left the house around 7am when we had that mini blizzard just to go fucking around with my crossclimate 2's on the camry. I saw this pos sonata with bald tires trying to leave her cul de sac. Most of the roads werent plowed yet and the side streets were covered in about a foot of snow so suffice to say this bimbo wasnt going anywhere.

Anyways, i was heading for her, she was "trying" to come my way so i just stopped and see what would happen. Well she gunned it, snow flying everywhere but her pos sonata didnt move an inch. I ran out and offered to help her and i pushed my ass off trying to move her piece of shit. After about 5 minutes of her gunning and me pushing shes like omg no no, i need to get to work im so late. Im like you should probably call a snow day, your car isnt going to make it there.

Then shes like no you dont understand if i dont make it, i wont be able to pay the rent this month. im like uhhhh where do you work? shes like close to richmond center. Im like GET IN bitch!!! and we just left her pos Sonata stranded in the middle of the road while i rushed her to work.

I dont ever know what happened to that girl and her pos car. She gave me her number and a kiss on the cheek for thanks but i went back to build an igloo with tiny spy balloon and the chihuahua's

I still offer assistance. Once you don’t, then you add to the mess of a world we live in. I will have faith in humanity till the bitter end.

I am so happy that all three of my children are the same.

i dont know old man, if i saw you stuck in the middle of the road, id probably laugh at you.

In the case as MG1 has described it, I'd say helping is less about camaraderie, and really more about (or all about) getting the stuck vehicle out of my way so that I won't be delayed any longer than absolutely necessary.

After all, most of the time I am just a selfish and self-serving prick.

Dafuq you got her number AND a kiss on the cheek?! And you didn't take that any further?! Obviously you could have gotten so much more out of the encounter!

Note to self -- forget the Corolla, but at least buy some CC2 and look for random bimbos stuck in the snowbank this winter. :concentrate:

Damn, that's great.

But you know what'd be even more great, is if you had a truck and you could say "get in, biatch!" back into her own car and just fackin tow her all the way to work.

These are some expensive stuff. A lot of fakes out there. I'm not sure if you can get it locally.

But if you don't mind getting it from China, PM me. I have gotten it before for my in-laws through some of my parents' buddies.

bcrdukes 11-16-2023 10:44 AM

How do you know the stuff from China isn't fake? :troll:

Man old people at the pool change room are so fuckin weird.

Walked in the shower with a guy doing a downward dog his asshole pointing up at the shower nozzle using it like a goddamn bidet while his hands were washing his flip flops.

And then so many guys sitting bare ass and balls on the benches with no towel or nothing

Or like leaving their swim trunks right on the floor after taking them off in the shower. Like the floor is fucking disgusting

Badhobz 11-17-2023 11:35 AM

This is why I haven’t gone to a pool since high school. I was traumatized by those ghetto ass old men in Britannia’s shitty pool

You're missing out, man. The new pools are really, really nice. I haven't been to Minoru for a long time, but I think their pool is quite recently rebuilt from the ground up, so I'd expect them to be super nice.

I've recently started going to the Edmunds pool, and everything is super modern looking. I'm 90% certain that instead of using that disgusting chlorine, they are using something else to keep the pool clean, so you don't even smell like chlorine after swimming.

Other newer pools like Hillcrest, Renfrew, and Killarney are also pretty nice too. (But I think Hillcrest still uses chlorine, so that is still disgusting.)

Killarney is 15+ years old at this point.... They rebuilt it right after I graduated from Killarney

After being around for so long, for some people, there are simply no fucks left to give.

One day you may look back and reflect upon this post :lol

I won’t be that guy unless I start popping Cialis like some other members around here. Hehe. Members.

I totally get not giving a fuck as you get older, but the downward dog public shower bidet move I saw firsthand today was just next level for me.

punkwax 11-17-2023 03:56 PM

Ya. No. That’s fucked. Just saying, some people DGAF.

Also, mental health is a real thing and you can stumble across anything at anytime.

Stay safe out there, RS.

Lemme guess, the first hit is for free LUL

Not that I’d be interested but it’s too late for me man.. I’m at the stage in my life where socks and underwear gifts are a cold, hard reality. If I suddenly upped the underwear size, too many eyebrows would be raised and people might think I pulled a John Bobbitt.

That reference should give you an idea as to why I receive socks and undies as gifts :okay:

And I thought seeing the old guy with one foot on the floor and one on the wall next to the dryer was bad lol.

It was right after my kid's swim lessons @ Killarney. Told my kid we're drying his hair when we get home.

Killarney's using a UV system for water treatment.
