It's ok to not like the current guy, but also not the guy that's likely going to be the next guy. What is it with you and stupid hyperbole.
And no, PP becoming PM is not because of what you described, it's because the federal conservatives had nobody else to put there other than PP - Although the same can be said about the Liberals..
When/if PP becomes PM, and things aren't any better, I somehow think you'll find a way to blame Trudeau for that as well.
Things literally cannot get worse. Socially/Fiscally/Etc.
If there’s more money in my pockets as part of the conservatives winning, that’s good enough for me. At this point I really couldn’t care less about issues that don’t affect me directly. The way the world is it’s basically fuck everyone else and look out for number one. The govt. will -never- help you regardless of whoever is in power. Trying to create any sort of equality in modern society just drains peoples bank accounts as the expense of this virtue signaling Trudeau has been determined to leave a legacy of.
Honestly not having to hear JT any longer would be enough for me. That and to see people squirm who supported this clown to this point.
After that report came out that JT is worth 100+ million, it’s impossible for me to take anything the guy says regarding living expenses or cost of living seriously.

To be fair, all of the Libs failures have really been in the last 2 years. They did an objectively good job compared to other nations that are like ours (US, UK, Sweden, etc.) with their Covid response.
Maybe you would have liked the idea of cons being in power through all that, but I'm sure that would have changed when your loved ones were dying, because that literally happened to A LOT of people I knew in the US, or people with families in Brazil and other places that really fucked it up.
People do have an issue with blaming this government for every problem we are dealing with, when only a few of them are actually their fault.
They absolutely are doing a terrible job at handling anything financially right now, and creating any confidence in their decisions.
PP will probably do a better job fiscally, but the emboldening of the far right people when the government gets elected will only create further division in this country. We are just America junior in every fucking aspect. Living through our own 2009 economic collapse based on housing debt. Soon we will have a reality tv d lister celeb running the country claiming the election was rigged when they are voted out. Can't wait.

And to be clear, JT has done stupid shit, some of which you have mentioned, and I do think he needs to go. But then the rest of your argument breaks down...like the cons platform is fiscal conservatism. That literally means less money in your pocket. Unless you're mad that the liberals are spending money on things that don't affect you. In which case boy do I have a surprise for you when the cons come into power.
Also, one can't help but find it ironic that you can't take JT seriously because he's rich, while also whining that there's no money coming for you from the government while simultaneously blaming the government for over-spending, and then also bagging on people that received CERB.
Things like carbon taxes and all the BS that those types of federally implemented taxes do exactly that, take money out of your pockets. Can anyone tell me what the carbon tax actually goes toward?
Being fiscally conservative and not simply blowing money on irrelevant ventures = less inflationary behaviour. Less inflation = more money in my pocket
As we’ve said in every other thread, the quality of living in Canada has fallen off a cliff. And the leadership at the federal level is a big driver of that. People living in 200k+ households live like a 80k household did 15 years ago.
Healthcare is worse than ever (crazy, nothing ever changed since 4 years ago when we said THEN it takes time to fix, that’s weird!)
Inflation worse than ever
Affordability worse than ever
