We've had a douglas for 3 years now, and it's holding up well. Would recommend, especially considering it was like $600 for a king.

My biggest issue with foam mattress is that it traps heat. However this tempurapedic doesn’t do that. My old postrapedic did trap heat and I was sort of able to solve it with a bamboo mattress pad.

I don't think trying it out helps at all, unless you mean you can sleep on for a week or two. a lot of reviews consistently say the first few days they weren't sure, but then after a while they loved it.

One thing I’d say if is you like firm mattresses, get a tight top style

Any sort of pillow top, even if it’s an inch, creates opportunities for the material to get compressed or your back to follow the contour of the worn in pillow top.

Out current Costco mattress is suppose to be rated from firm to very firm, but it has a fairly substantial pillow top type surface, and to me, it feels wayyy softer than my previous mattress which was a tight top firm

One thing I do find is that foam mattresses, uh, require more effort.

No offence but this seems like such backward thinking to me lol..

So you’re not willing to spend money on somthing you spend almost half your life on?

I worked with a guy he’s like I need a new mattress! A queen! But I’m not gonna spend more than $400!! Alright.. lol

That’s why you use the sleep country 180 day sleep thingy guarantee. They don’t charge you a penny if you decide to buy a slightly more expensive one (even if it’s like 1 dollar more) or you just pay the 75 bucks to swap it.

That’s why I went with sleep country. That Christine McGee woman knows what she’s doing.

If it's good that's just where we're at now. The feenie burger at cactus is $25 and it's garbage.

I'll stick with my Save on Foods $8 sunwood smash burger from the new fancy Poco save on. Best taste to price ratio anywhere.

Anyone know where to buy futons, like proper futons ala Japanese sleep on the tatami floor types. Came back from a trip to Sweden and Copenhagen and had the best sleep of my life with the partner as their bedding setup is 2 seperate futons on top of a rock firm mattress base. Considering trying to emulate this at home, it was that good.

The price doesn't surprise me at all based on what even White Spot or Red Robin charge for a burger now a days and they are supposed to be family restaurants.

My wife and I were talking about it last night, she had friends from work go and it was apparently pretty terrible and tasteless, zero condiments on their burger which made it dry AF. They also said the fries tasted like frozen McCain fries. The hot dog apparently was decent but everything else sucked, this was a group that ordered a bunch of different things and shared.

Now this is just one groups opinion and it was opening weekend so maybe just trying to dial it in? I'll probably try it at some point.

Had a foie gras burger at the Vegas location, and boozy milkshakes, hit the spot but wouldn’t take it over a red robin burger or a chicken sandwhich from DL etc

I'd agree, I think the thing my wife's friends went to was a test run or mock opening on the weekend.

I'd try it, why not (Ramsey Burger)

I'm a big burger guy, I took the GF to Five Guys last week (her 1st time), she felt it was one of the best burgers she's had.

Honestly, IMHO, I think Five Guys might be the best burger spot, if cost is a consideration. Top tier fries, and their burger with 2 patties is about $11.

You can't beat that.

Anyone who thinks In and Out is better needs their head checked.

I went to Ramsay's burger joint in Vegas a few years back, I remember it being decent I don't know if I thought it was better than Five Guys.

Anyways, it was expensive as fuck but who cares, it's something you'll probably try once and then never again.

I like Five Guys too, but sometimes... SOMETIMES... they give you a sack of straight up soggy mess... I don't know why or what the reason is, but it's like russian roulette with those guys. It's either fantastic especially for the price or inedible trash.
