I don't know the brand but they are replica wheels. They are sold at Kal Tire in a variety of finishes.

Just curious but how can you tell they're replicas? What's the brand of the real wheels?

Someone also said it was because of a man walking around with a rifle or something. But i doubt that since the roads weren't closed and there were still pedestrians?

I have learned my lesson. Never buy a used item from eBay without checking to see if it comes from a non-smoking or smoking environment. I purchased a static model kit from a guy off eBay. The model was a partially built warship. Only the hull and the deck were put together. The price was right and I wanted this particular model. It arrives in the mail in good shape, but when I open it up, I nearly pass out from the smell of cigarette smoke.

It's pungent to the point I want to puke. This coming from a guy who has smoked for most of his life. I'm hoping that airing out the contents will fix the problem.

I can only imagine how this guy's appartment, car, or house smells............

Yeah, but I'm not that kind of guy. I'm hoping that once I paint the parts, the smell will go away. As for the smelliest part, the instructions, I can print them off Hasegawa's web site.

If it was lingering pot smell, I can deal with that. Old cigarette smell is just nasty. I left the instructions on my laptop and now it smells. I'm just gonna have to Febreez that shit. LOL.

thanks for the help..........

Does anyone know where I can get a respirator fit tested in the GVRD? I need a place that issues a card certifying that my respirator has been fit tested as some job sites will require it. TIA

Noticed this a couple of weeks ago.............

Street signs in the Grandview Hwy and Boundary Road area with poppies on them. Only on the streets named after famous battles - Dieppe, Normandy, Falais, Malta, Vimy, etc.

Do they take them down after Remembrance Day? I recall seeing them before, then gone, only to come back. It's a nice touch.

Haida Street sign has one. Anyone know the history on this?

I made the big mistake today of going to the Superstore in Metrotown. Fuck, that place is busy. I think I've been to that location twice, ever. Today being the second time. So many people........... good thing about this location is the amount of eye candy. Holy carp, what a difference between Metro SS and the Coquitlam SS. Coquitlam is like full of soccer moms of the dumpy variety and old farts like me, LOL.

The second mistake I made today was choosing to line up in the self serve checkouts. Fuck, people are dumb. They take their fucking time. One couple (girl had awesome ass, btw) stood there discussing their purchase. WTF? Do the discussing in the aisle, not at the checkout! Then they couldn't figure out how to weigh their produce. She was cute, but dumber than a sack of hammers. Boyfriend was a dolt. I think the combined IQ of both could be counted on one hand. /rant.

I think I'll go back, for the eye candy........... hee hee.

I go there once in a while. No eye candy there. Just skinny legged, no ass, Asian chicks, LOL. The 1st Ave T&T is even worse. Coquitlam one is not bad. Older Asian women, but nice.

I need to walk up and down Chinatown like in the good ol' days. Mmmmm, fresh out of the oven, apple dumplings from New Town Bakery.

news of the day:

Quote:
KUALA LUMPUR (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - A man sodomised his 23-day-old son after his wife, who is still in confinement, refused to have sex with him.

The 39-year-old mother noticed that her son was weak and listless and found injuries on the baby's anus and mouth when she was bathing him.

'She brought him to a nearby clinic before being referred to Selayang Hospital where doctors confirmed that the baby was sodomised,' Gombak deputy OCPD Supt Rosly Hassan said. Police believed the baby's mouth was bruised because the man had covered it with his hands while trying to prevent the baby's cries from being heard by his wife.

'We believe the incident took place in the bedroom of the family's home at Batu Caves. The mother was believed to be resting in the living room when the incident took place,' he said. The man was picked up by police at 8pm on Friday after his wife lodged a police report at the Selayang police station.
