y'all been talking about Admiralty Centre food court and NO ONE mentions the beef brisket noodle at Kam Ho? for shame absolute best in Vancouver, bar none. I have had it at so many other places and always been disappointed in comparison. Do yourselves a favour and try it out. If you order extra brisket they'll assume you're a friend of mine lol. |
Anyone get their .68 cent hand held console from aliexpress. Got mine today and it works. It's flimsy but it works. |
Any recommendations for car rentals in Vancouver? Need to rent a car for 8 or 9 days, min. mid-size SUV/sedan. |
been a real long time since i rented a car, but if you're a costco member you may get better rates through costco travel. i did many years ago and it was cheaper than going to the companies' websites for rates |

Oh what you got a controller? Did mine get forgotten or did I order the wrong item Edit: lol shit I did order the one without the controller lol fail |
any experts here? this guy says, in over 10k cards, could be anywhere from 20~30 Gretzky rookie cards? Was it not randomly packaged back then? I collected cards in 90s and there was no guaranteed for anything, didn't matter how many packs I bought. I remember having many many shoe boxes full of worthless scrub cards... |
I have a Pavel Bure rookie card. How much is that worth these days? Must be a few grand by now right? right???? |

Yeah I also had a bunch of whole sets from the 90s as well. I remember reading they're not worth that much because they were so mass produced. Well I decided to look up some of the values of the high cards I remember I had. Much disappoint. |
Yep. 90’s cards are worthless. I just started collecting again. What a rabbit hole it is now compared to the good old days. I had to spend a small fortune to be able to buy boxes to hopefully land a Bedard. You can’t just walk into a store unless you want to pay a premium vs. Investing in previous seasons to get in on ground level pricing. That said, my son really enjoys spending the time ripping packs open looking for special cards so that helps me feel it is money well spent. |
Plz turn off the audio (ill get it fixed once the youtube allows me) but i found this old video of me riding the high rails. God i miss being a conductor. |
Trading cards now are all about these super expensive single packs, $600-$800 for 1 or 2 packs of cards |
