Where exactly is this waterfall lake place? Looks awesome!!!

Is it a national park or campsground where you can have a picnic or bbq?

Anyone know an effective way to get rid of ants.

I think there is a fat nest under neath or out front my house and they came in and i see them everywhere.

I'm having the same problem as well with Ants - it's a summer thing.

I research it and here's what works.

If you see them try and trace them to where their ant hole and source of origin is.

The following thing works (so I heard)
1. Cornmeal. Sprinkle a bunch. The ants will eat it and when they do it'll expand and kill them.
2. Borax (laundry detergent). Again the ants will try and eat it and bring it back to the hole and they'll die.
3. Anything off the shelf for ant traps from hardware store (HD, Ronas, Canadian Tire etc).

I would say your best bet is probably before 11:00am.

Gives you time to beat the lunch time rush, setup your bbq and take it easy for the bbq lunch and into the afternoon.

If you have a night time one it'll be hard to get a table in the mid afternoon.

For future reference: 10 o'clock seems a prime time; got there almost at 10 on the dot, and there were barely any cars parked and less than a third of tables taken.

Half an hour later, however, the streetside parking was nearly full and tables were completely gone.

Also: between 3 and 5 especially, they towed at least half a dozen cars from behind the Beach Cafe (East spanish banks one), the ones parked on the south side of the road. Looked like the guys were gonna pull in a pretty penny tonight.

Granddad at 29... but hospital staff demand his ID because they think he's too young to be the FATHER!

A 29-year-old man who has become one of Britain's youngest grandparents was left red-faced after nurses asked him to prove he was over 16 as he tried to visit his daughter's baby.

Unemployed Shem Davies was overjoyed when 14-year-old Tia gave birth to Gracie earlier this month.

Nope 4x4 trail where not many people know about and go ;)

MG1 07-15-2012 07:21 AM

It's sprinkling out there this morning, guys. Please be careful when driving. Oil and water do not mix. Roads will be extra slippery. If it was raining hard, the water just washes the shit away, but this amount of precipitation can cause problems.

murd0c 07-15-2012 09:25 AM

Stupid rain, not going to the waterfall now....

Anyone know the best place in Richmond to watch the sunset?

Sky_High 07-17-2012 12:15 PM

I wouldn't say its the best...nor do I frequent Richmond,
but give Inglis Drive + River Road a shot. The view from Flying Beaver at sunset is quite awesome.

Canadian laws should be changed to require women to "cover themselves" to prevent sexual assaults, says an Islamic street preacher in Toronto.

Atangana, who plans to distribute his views on paper in the coming weeks, went on to state that "the reason ... a woman gets raped is because of the way she (dresses)," and suggests that "Toronto (become) the first city in North America to introduce laws that would make it illegal for women to dress provocatively."
...
"Women here should have a dress code," he says. "That would prevent sexual assault."
