Badhobz 05-10-2024 07:37 PM

wheres the titanium exhaust and Cold Air Intake!?

this is trash without ricer parts.

I demand a huge wing on the top of that grill immedately and it should be done in carbon fibre.

SkinnyPupp 05-10-2024 10:20 PM

There's a pretty intense magnetic storm happening RIGHT NOW, so the aurora extends all the way down into the US. Depending on surrounding light levels, you guys should be able to see it right now

Check it out!

I can see it from my back yard. It's amazing.

Gumby 05-10-2024 11:02 PM

Darn, some of my relatives saw it first hand, but i only caught it through their pictures...

underscore 05-10-2024 11:26 PM

I can faintly see it with my eyes, pictures look infinitely better though.

Qmx323 05-10-2024 11:27 PM

Coming through really well on iPhone 13 with 3 second exposure

I think all of vancouver is out at pitt Addington reserve trying to see the northern lights, one way road and 100,000 vars trying to leave

PeanutButter 05-11-2024 01:12 PM

The northern lights exposure is rated G5, which is the highest rating possible. It is an extreme weather event. It happens once ever 11 ish years.

Should be a good show tonight as well.

Wow the kid did an amazing job!

Gumby 05-11-2024 04:00 PM

Just spent an hour cleaning my 10-yr old BBQ... used a plastic scraper & brush to clean the inside and dump the crap out through the drip pan, and wiped the exterior with stainless steel cleaner/polisher.

Before:
Spoiler!

SSM_DC5 05-11-2024 04:36 PM

Is there an estimated time for tonight to see the aurora?

donk. 05-11-2024 05:03 PM

Everything you see online is not what you see in person

Time: probably around 11pm-2am, theres lots of websites showing info

You will see about 20%, of what people are posting online.
Unless you are half way up to whistler, and even then, i would guess its 50% tops

If your in the city, you will not see anything, bare minimum is spanish banks, iona jetty, nw marine drive, etc

And it will be a zoo of cars with heavy traffic

Cellphone camera with a long exposure will show you way more than you can see with your eyes.

underscore 05-11-2024 05:50 PM

I'll post them later but even with my ancient S10 on night mode it picked up way more than my eyes could. To the naked eye it just looked like some faint dust or water vapour up there.

Hondaracer 05-11-2024 05:50 PM

So in other words, you’re not missing much. Lol

I went out at 1130 last night and I have a pretty clear view of grouse from out on the street and I couldn’t see shit

StylinRed 05-11-2024 07:45 PM

Took some random snaps with my camera and was surprised at the results I just can't get the photos off my camera into lightroom, dunno wth is wrong, usb cable isn't connecting, using an sdcard reader doesn't work either fuuuuuuuuuu

Use this: https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/a...inute-forecast

Add 17 hours to convert from UTC to PST (so 4am UTC is 9pm)

Best chance to take some nice pics is probably right now

GS8 05-11-2024 08:44 PM

Today's weather :ahwow:

Today's traffic: DansGame

The girls in Vancouver: :sweetjesus:

The girls in Abbotsford: :heckno:

does anybody know if your doctor can use anybody else other than Lifelabs? they are the McDonalds of medical services, holy fuck what a joke. i had 4 techs yesterday, one after another stabbing me looking for a vein. it was like strike out, next batter, strikeout again. the last one finally called their manager who easily found one, five stabs later!

SSM_DC5 05-12-2024 07:10 AM

Go to a different location next time. Finding your vein is a skill and each phlebotomist is at a different level.
