^LOL.. Don't act like there's a Whole Foods in Richmond. What are the fancy super markets in Richmond anyway? My buddy who makes $250k a year goes to that Walmart every week because it's close to his house. Then again, $250k to Badhobz is his chequing account balance.. |
It’s called t&t. Which stands for titties and taffy. Real Chinese go there and buy their hot food in a bucket for 6 bucks a kg. Mixing sweet and sour pork with garlic chicken ? Why the hell not. Throw some ma pou tofu in there too and go home to cook your own rice because savings. |
richmond walmart is actually good for chinese stuff |

any martial art is good, but i think bjj would make you humble b/c you basically get smashed and just try to survive b/c of all the rolling at lower beginner levels. in terms of weight/age etc, i think rener had a decent explanation of belts in bjj |

I also prefer my sports cars fairly liveable so I don't mind the GT-ness of a 911 and I want my wife to feel comfortable riding along for a long trip (she did not like my NB Miata but could take a nice nap in a 992) Quote:

Or something like the 991T I shared in good buys: https://www.autotrader.ca/a/porsche/...x=-1&modalXS=1 Thanks all for the advice, got some thinking and test driving to do. |
The more modern Porsche will be comfortable for long drives, and what I would expect to be liveable. But don't expect it to handle like it's prepped for an IMSA race. These cars are way more car than most of us can handle on the street. If you are looking to do the long drives and be able to enjoy it with the family, I'd say a PDK is more desirable. PDK itself makes the car liveable and you just get to enjoy the car. Rowing through gears on the 10 Freeway in NorCal and SoCal is not fun. I think you'll really enjoy a more modern Boxster or Cayman, but the drawback as you already know, is it's a 2-seater. The price point is not bad, but you can't fit your family in there. I'm in town tomorrow. Come take a look at my rat rod Boxster before it heads back east. :) Having said all that, I'm looking forward to a RS Porsche photo shoot soon. :troll: |

With this particular one, since it is still under the original factory warranty, I think there is a good chance you can get Porsche Vancouver (which is right next door, and also under the Dilawri umbrella) to certify it so that you can purchase a 2 or 3 yrs Porsche extended warranty on it. Just want to mention this as a possibility LOL~ |

As for Boxster vs 911 - I love the mid-engine dynamics of the Boxster over the 911 but the practicality of the 911 is pretty great in my use case. I've told the wife that there are going to be trips where it's daddy/daughter and no mom if it's the Boxster I get and she's just going to have to live with that. As for seeing your car - that'll have to wait, still at Disneyland. |
Damn, so I just landed at YVR and got the email my Walmart order was cancelled. :suspicious: |

I boxed for 4 years, and have a bunch of friends in BJJ, some run schools here in Vancouver. If you were talking a street fight, you'd never want to utilize guard, you'll get lifted and dropped on your head on concrete, or kicked in the face by whoever else is involved, you never want to be on the ground. An athletic guy would likely be able to overpower a 16 year old in a standard fight, if that girl goes flying, picked up or dropped onto something, it's game over. I think the overall thought process is that BJJ for girls is excellent in an environment of someone attempting sexual assault, not to be morbid. You try that with someone trained in BJJ, and you'll either be choked out or screaming with a broken arm in no time. So I'd agree with that assessment from that perspective, but in a "street fight", no. |

You sound like you need a 4 seater minimum. Also depending on how old your daughter is, the 911 may only work for a limited time for the whole family anyways. |
^This makes the most sense to me. I was always told that most fights end up on the ground, but now that you mention it, you don't want to be on the ground. I can see someone stomping your head if you're rolling around. |
Yeah you come to stock and noon meaaaatttt !!!! |
Is someone challenging PeanutButter to a street fight? :suspicious: |
Can't wait to watch it on PPV |

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!! GET DAT TINY BITCH !!!! |
We had a dad's night out yesterday at the Victor inside the Parq Casino. Pretty nice spot if you guys have never been. Food was good, service was good, and the courtyard outside is super nice, BC place was in the background lit up. I would say it's a premium spot for a date if you don't mind paying. And my goodness the amount of top tier talent (ie. ladies) that were there was impressive. Though, they looked like the type of women who would only talk to Badhobz and Hehe (chequing account balance being over $250k lol). One of the guys had a plug at Enso night club (aka Harbour aka Gossip aka Plush) for the MYA concert, so we made our way over there after. It was a pretty decent concert. A lot of moms and people 30+ y.o but it was a good time. I was surprised. |
This popped up on my feed. |
I was at the Nespresso Boutique where I saw these interesting looking glasses/cup/bowl. They were for Affogato. In Italian, affogato means drowned.............. kind of like doused. In Japanese doused is bukkake. If you're in the North Burnaby area, cum on over and I'll make you guys some bukkake, I mean, affogato. This should be in coffee thread, but it's too hoity toity, gulolol. Plus, the only ice cream I can afford is the $2.99 2-Litre ice cream from Walmart. If you want, you could bring your own thick, heavy cream. |
