Wowowoooowoow gender bender. He just needs a pink tutu. Also…. Epic ! This is distilled Metrotown excellence. All you need to complete the picture would be a bunch of Palestinian protestors and a guy randomly stabbing people. |
Was there an anime convention? :suspicious: |

Yoooooooooooo did you guys see that Eminem dropped a new track this weekend, soon to be a new album? Slim Shady is back =D Premise is that Shady from 2002 found a portal to 2024 current day and is confused AF about what's going on with culture right now. So he's just talking shit about how soft culture is today. It's an ode to Without Me. I think the music video is awesome. If you're a fan, I think you'll like it. "It Bops" as the new kids would say. |
bops? as in kidz bop? https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...Ei5JD2oDlozA&s |

Water filtration. Not a fan of RO since you need a tank and it does take a while. https://canadianchoicehs.ca/wp-conte...oronto-min.jpg simple one with carbon filter and then buy filters for easy replacement... anyone have any suggestions? |

It was a dealership sponsored event... Ford and Bannister? I think? Was a Mitsubishi from what I have read, experienced driver... 12 years fully licensed / sanctioned racing despite being quite young... 31yo I think? Someone on one of the racing chats mentioned that he'd been having some mechanical troubles with the car during the event. |

I have a Kinetico unit at my place. I have the RO system in my main kitchen and we have their KUBE unit in our home office kitchenette. The RO system is a bit intrusive as it needs space to hold the tanks, but I never found it slow. The system refills itself efficiently, and you'd have to use a hell of a lot of water for it to be "slow." The KUBE is more simple. You have two cartridges and it doesn't take up a lot of space and runs on demand. It isn't an RO system, but does filter certain things like chlorine etc. but it wont' correct any hard water situations. We've been happy with the KUBE since we move to Toronto 7 years ago. |
Why do you need to do this in BC? Tap water is great here. |
my gf likes alkaline water which is basically just a pitcher of water with some sort of sachet in there that increases the ph. idk why... not do i care. i just drink from the tap even if her water pitcher is just sitting there next to it. |

The tap water in my 100 year old home (albeit portions of my water lines have been replaced) tested almost perfect PH for the 15ppm I was getting directly Out of the tap. 15ppm for tap water is basically unheard of. I doubt that filter setup can even filter out whatever is remaining |
All I do is boil my water like a true asian lol. Tap is fine but I do find that my boiled water tastes better. |
Growing up in Vancouver, I've heard comments from "Oh the water here is gross" to "I won't even give my dog tap water." Vancouver water is excellent in comparison to where I am now. The water is hard, it definitely tastes awful, and it leaves hard water deposits in your appliances. You guys have it good in Vancouver. |
Yah that's another thing to be sad about moving to Calgary... hard water... lots of houses I see for sale have central water softening systems in them. |
