They don't do many wireless, but for wired, he has no problem recommending them. Also, said Bose sucks cuz they cut out sounds. I'm assuming that's why they are known to have no highs and no lows because they sound bad, so it gets deleted.

Can't judge poor sound quality if it doesn't make it to your ear right?
Have not tried Grado wireless, but for wired, they had great open back headphones especially for rock/acoustic and less bassy tracks. However, the comfort was terrible.

ive "heard" that the strip clubs in Montreal are fun. HEARD

they got some nice restaurants:
https://maps.app.goo.gl/HL3s1VwYmo1raLsC9 <-- Gibby's is famous

https://maps.app.goo.gl/Sdv2ddeSy2qzFor86 <--- this Le Boulevardier place is too

There's a ton of asian food around too. A lot of those all you can eat sushi places that are roughly 40 bucks per person. Fisshu is okay

Pho is hit and miss in Montreal. Overall pretty bad.

Korean BBQ is decent, most of the Korean bbq places are run by mainlander chinese. Same with the sushi places

Old Port is where the sightseeing is, just walk towards the water when you hit Notre Dame

When I was in Montreal just coming out of Covid, 2021 I guess, most of the old good strip clubs were all boarded up, as was much of St.Laurent

Some steamies and pout

- Schwartz Deli for smoked meat sandwich. Skip dining in and just grab one from takeout (separate door)
- Bernie's Beigne for an apple fritter. Be warned, it's really big.
- Dieu Du Ciel for a Peche Mortel. It's an imperial coffee stout. If you're lucky they have the bourbon barrel finish on tap. If not, you can get it in a bottle.
- L'express for a nice dinner.
- Montreal Plaza for an even nicer dinner.
- Montreal pool room for a steamy. It's an institution for late night bites after the rumored strip clubs.
- Olive et Gourmando in old town for pastries or brunch.

I really enjoyed my sandwiches at Lester's Deli if you can make your way there.

Terrible name, but I enjoyed Le Restaurant Grinder.

For shits and giggles, when I met up with Badhobz in Montreal on our work trips, we tried to make a reservation to have dinner here at the Holiday Inn Chinatown Montreal. They denied us. How rude!

They got 2 speak easys in montreal that's awesome - Jap themed. Check it out.

100% to headhunt3r- you will see about 30-60 people at Schwartz Deli.
Step next door, get 1/2 pound. Leave.

Eat it outside while everyone is drooling waiting to get in. a) the white bread sucks b) pickle is meh, so just eat 1/2 pound of take out split between 2-3 people.. you're golden. *as per above, one speak easy is 2 blocks away.
both bagel is good, i usually order 2 dozen for take out and freeze in my fridge.

Also as per Headhunter - Olive et Gourmando was great - super chill, super nice, good ingrediences, i actually sat down eating while reading their cook book.
*also, a few blocks from here, there is a speak easy. LOL

yes i'm an alcoholic.

Funny story, Couple of years ago I went with L'Express with my wife and we got seated next to a young Asian girl (probably from Vancouver or Toronto) dining alone and an older white guy also dining alone at adjacent table. He started chatting her up, asking her why she was alone etc. Her response, her friend wasn't feeling so well but they had this reservation so she didn't want to waste it. blah blah blah...At the end of dinner the guy pays for the chick's dinner and she just thanks him and walks away.

Da fuq man...Simping to an extreme

Umm...my suggestion add-ons
- Fresh bagels at Fairmount and St. Viateur
- Dumplings were actually really good in Chinatown. Can't remember the name but there's a few places were really cheap and it's not the scuzzy part o' town like it is here.
- Check out the Crew Collective & Cafe. It's located in a former Bank of Montreal grand atrium. Pretty cool IMO.

Any recommendations like the above+ for a few days in Toronto? None of the nicer dinner stuff, more hole-in-the-wall, or stuff that’s not as good in Vancouver.

Sounds like the guy was just being kind and what else did you expect her to do when her meal was done?

Go home with him. Or at least drop down under his table for some after dinner polishing? /s

I should have been more clear it was just how nonchalantly she said it. Like "oh thanks, k bye". It was like she was showing him gratitude for holding the door for her rather than comping her a $100+ meal.

What can I say, I'm just bitter I've never had a meal comped by a nice old man no matter how long they've chatted me up .

Honestly I think it will eventually come out to show it was hardly an accident

Can almost guarantee the rock came off a dump truck that was poorly loaded and secured
