If the dog is already showing clear signs of distress, I'll break the window rather than watching the dogs condition decline further while waiting for RCMP to arrive.
Is there anywhere in richmond that can gurantee they wont scratch my rims mounting them? I know sorat and speed syndicate are really good for that, but i would prefer something closer.
I had my car too close to the garage door, which closed it was fine. But when it came to getting my car out was another story. The garage lip got caught on my license plate bracket.
Tried backing up, and it felt like the garage door was going to rip off. In the end, I was lucky enough to remove the screw for the bracket and get my car out without much damage
A clothing store in a trendy Chicago neighborhood is one of the latest victims of a so-called flash mob robbery — when a large group storms into a shop to collectively rip off a retailer.
About 20 people entered the Mildblend Supply Co. in Wicker Park on Saturday afternoon, together grabbing more than $3,000 worth of high-priced denim jeans, according to police.
“I’ve gotten somewhat immune to the shoplifting here with young people, but this one was certainly different,” store owner Luke Cho told NBC 5 Chicago Sunday.
Cho described the group as a teenage mob. Only four staff were in the store to oppose them, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
“They completely overwhelmed us,” Cho told NBC 5. “I went to lock the door and there were a dozen more waiting to come in.”
The frantic scene was caught on store surveillance, which was posted on YouTube.
The youngsters are seen milling around one section of the store and rummaging through the stacks of jeans. At least one of them is caught stuffing a pair into his backpack as the group begins filing out of the store.
Alarmed by their presence, Cho said, he tried locking the doors.
“I think I kind of maybe stopped the flow a little bit, but I quickly realized something bad’s about to happen, and I alerted my staff to call 911,” Cho told CBS 2 Chicago.
He said the thieves were interested in a brand called Nudie Jeans, which retail for about $200 a pair.
“They knew what they wanted and went straight for it,” Cho said, according to NBC 5.
The teens weren’t trapped inside his store for long, unlocking the doors and taking cover in a local street fair.
It took police about 30 minutes to get to the store because the outdoor festivities closed off local streets, Cho said.
“They [the teens] basically pushed us aside,” Cho told the Sun-Times. “We were standing by the door. My staff got cuts and bruises and banged around until [the thieves] unlocked the door and got out.”
No one was arrested in connection to the thefts, police said Sunday.
Other flash mobs have been caught on tape stealing in recent months, including teens who robbed and trashed a Seattle-area supermarket in June.

I wouldn't keep it any longer than 6 months. Make sure it's sealed tight and away from heat.
Keep in mind, after sitting for that long it has degraded to a point where it's not as good as fresh gas. So don't expect whatever you're putting it in, to run its best.

Does anyone know how long I can keep gas in a jerry can until it goes bad?
if any longer than about 2 months id throw some fuel stabilizer in it. if its much more than a few months just burn it in your car and fill the can again when you need it.

Frank Wakelin Jim Pattison Toyota - Surrey - Stay far far away...
I was dealing with Gord Zilkowsky regarding to our end of lease. I had been dealing with “Gord” setting up an appointment time to take care of this and discuss a new vehicle as well.
When I arrived the receptionist located him in the customer lounge. When I approached the lounge I found a rather relaxed-looking Gord sitting with his feet up watching TV. When I greeted him and reminded him of our meeting today to take care of the lease his demeanor quickly changed and he looked somewhat annoyed at my presence. He begrudgingly got up and went to his office to look up our details and returned asking for the keys to go and look at the vehicle. He was quite short in telling me to “just wait here” while he went to look at the car. When he returned he briefly asked about the details of an accident that the car was involved in (which we were found 0% at fault) then returned to his office alone. My wife had arrived by the time he came back out of his office to talk to us.
He seemed even more put off now and stated that he would need $500.00 to take care of the lease. Not a big deal, but when I asked about the reason for the changes he explained, “I just go by a chart, it’s not my chart, it’s Toyota’s chart”. I then began to ask for the specifics behind the charges to which he interrupted me and snapped, “Look that car has no value, there’s no value in it whatsoever”. My wife then asked him why he was taking that attitude towards us? He replied, “I’m not giving you attitude, I don’t even need to take this lease back from you.”
It was at that point that I became angry with how he was addressing my wife and his unprofessionalism; I told him that his attitude has been horrible since the moment I arrived, and was completely unwarranted. His tone became hostile at this point, and he threw the key he had been holding across the counter towards my wife. He then stormed off to his office and returned with the insurance papers he had taken from the car and the other key. He slid them across the table and said, “I don’t want your car”. My wife then explained that we’d rather just return the vehicle and was even willing to pay the $500.00.
Both my wife and I are disgusted by the attitude of Gord; it was very clear to us he wanted nothing to do with the lease return. We will not only never return to any dealership bearing the name “Jim Pattison” again, but at the moment also not interested in owning/leasing another Toyota.
