Wtf? https://fortune.com/2024/07/31/elon-...rg-meta-fight/ Musk agrees to fight Venezuela president Maduro. Would not be surprised if Musk gets locked up as soon as he lands in Venezuela. |
musk already pussied out of fighting zuck, no reason to believe he's going to be fighting anyone. |
Is it just me, or is Elon Musk starting to look like Christopher Walken? https://fortune.com/img-assets/wp-co...pg?w=1440&q=75 |

"Maduro is a big guy himself and probably knows how to fight, so this would be a real fight. Zuck is a little fella, so that would be a short fight lol." |
elon is built like a carton of milk, he can't fight anyone. |
A carton of milk that was dropped and bulging about to explode on the bottom. |
The discussion calls for this pic again: https://i.pinimg.com/736x/8f/2d/72/8...a130436639.jpg Elon should join us in the weight loss accountability thread. |
Elon's brain is just wired differently. I mean it makes sense, who else could run like five different companies and still have time for all this nonsense. |
Just goes to show how little a CEO actually does, I don't doubt he used to do a lot more stuff, but now I think he just sits in his echo chamber barking at and threatening all his managers in between tweets and tranny porn jerkoff sessions |
Omg I’d be such a good ceo then. All I do is yell randomly at clouds and nobody pays me millions of dollars. |

That post reminds me of this one.... lol "Bodybuilders with big traps look like a small guy trapped in a giant costume. Once you see, you can’t I see. The traps are the little guy’s shoulders" https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GPevth8aEAEv5bv?format=jpg |
Does anyone know if my local MLA will help me out with an issue with the city of Vancouver trying to implement traffic calming measures on my street? A few KM away from me is a major issue with volume so they're trying to reduce that, but they're putting in one ways and diverters in my area that has almost no volume at all. I've been talking to the city that's dealing with it and they're so dense. I've pointed out that the traffic study they did, showed no increase in volume in our street at all, but they still want to make it a one way and put two diverters in on the street and street over. I've asked for explanations and they give me this political BS answer that doesn't provide any explanation. Will my local MLA help me with this? |
Unfortunately, I'm afraid it is a munipal affair, and you MLA is unlikely to step in to help. I've dealt with a similar issue many years ago with the city installing speed bumps in a nearby side street. It was clear to me that the city staffer responding to the requests is just a pawn meant to act like the city would listen to residents feedback, when their real goal is to dissuade you from doing anything that goes against city plans. It is also her job to prevent you from reaching her superior to lodge the complain when you know she was clearly not the decision maker, or even the one making useful suggestions. With it being a municipal matter, I suspect you might have a better chance of getting in touch with a city councilor. But don't get your hopes up with that either, because that sort of work is being done by city staff. All that the city councilor can do is to follow up with the relevant department on your behalf for a bit. Unless your complain align with his political goal, or something that is already on his agenda, you are not going to get very far. IMO the only way you'd have a chance to make the needle move is if you can mobilize a sizable number of people to all file the same complain as you do to counter the issue at hand (implementing traffic calming measures). In my experience though, far too many idiots think these traffic calming measures are good when all they do is make things worst. And by the time stuff has been built, it is often too late / too costly to reverse course. And then some of the idiots will start complaining too, all the while totally forgetting that they supported this BS in the first place. FailFish |
Your MLA won't step into municipal affairs. Contact the city and contact the city's engineering team. Call 311 and tell them you're PeanutButter from RevScene and you're about to lay down a thick layer of fiscal responsibility on them. |
