Well Elon does own a major social media platform that he uses to promote hate and misinformation. Said platform was one of the best ways to get information and used to be a place that news orgs would regularly break news but instead it's now a cesspool of spam, bots and hate.

I still use Twitter a fair bit but man, is it ever terrible now unless some breaking news happens. Outside of breaking news I get better content from TikTok now. It's not like I'm a noob to Twitter - been on there since 2008 and it's gone from breaking news like a plane crashing into the Hudson to trash under Elon's "leadership".

Tesla literally did another vote last month on the exact same pay package. Now, it's six years later, people had time to digest, evaluate, hate, etc.

The vote last month passed again by over 75%.

The shareholders have now passed two votes on the exact same issue six years apart and people are having issue with it?

So, I was at the grocery store today and saw these 2 fat fucks with all the English skills of the Swedish chef, shoplifting ice cream bars. For many, food security is becoming a big deal (not for RS ballers, of course) but record number of people have to decide whether to pay their rent or for food. No surprise that food banks usage have increased dramatically recently. These are hard times for even those who worked a decent job for their whole life and their pension +CPP +OAS is still just keeping them barely afloat. It's sad to watch.

Highest demographic who is becoming homeless are seniors.

I see all the homeless addicts, bent over on the streets, sleeping and talk of providing housing. As much as I swing left on this and yes, let's find good clean housing for as many as we can. I just know that some of these folks DO NOT have the capacity to live alone in a suite, maintain personal hygiene, feed themselves, and keep the place in a reasonable cleanliness state. Certain percentage of homeless folks with addiction and mental health issues need some sort of assisted living.
