If you can’t help the 16 year old addict by even providing support and recovery, there isn’t a chance in hell you’re going to provide assisted living for homeless seniors. Much like giving away free dental care is “cheaper” than fixing cavities later on, the bottom line is better off having a senior pass away on the streets than tie up multi-tiered resources to get a roof over their heads.

Saw this ghoul on the DTES the other day, probably late 60’s early 70’s. You’re an elderly person basically a skeleton living on the streets..

I can't speak on the ROI of letting seniors die on the streets but the research on how to address homelessness has always shown that it's better financially to house them than to let them live on the streets. There's so much data on this that it's not even in dispute anymore - it's just that conservatives would rather we let people die in the streets than give them something to help them.

Ice cream is extremely popular with addicts on the streets, guys will steal ice cream bars, pints, and resell them on the street at a major markup.

Seniors of any kind require a lot of support though whether they're homeless or not - I'm not sure if there's enough of a financial difference to letting them die on the street or of caring for them - at least not one that exceeds our desire for compassion and thankfulness of what they (as a whole) have done for society.

In the most basic sense the cheapest way to deal with seniors is to grind them into animal feed when they can't work anymore but I hope we all agree that we want to save our meat grinders for other uses (and we don't really want to grind granny up).

I don't want to judge without knowing Elon and his family, but I find it hard to believe Elon can be a good father in the traditional sense. The guy is probably never home. You can't influence and support your children if you're never home.

It’s like the rated R version of TikTok lol.

The same videos that get blurred out or cut on TikTok are completely uncensored on x.

I barely ever used twitter before other than for breaking news. But now breaking news is kinda everywhere instantly.

I use whatever is entertaining. And x entertainment levels have gone up tremendously.

Though I’m still on insta and TikTok more.

Is Twitter appropriate for children? Twitter's rules state that users under the age of 13 can't create accounts or post tweets, but many do it anyway.

Way late to this as I've been offline, camping.
City's putting in School zone 30 kph limits at Kingsford Smith on Elliot and for 54th as well starting September.

Waverly has it already, so Clarendon/Elliott South of 41st is gonna be slow. Traffic on 54th already backs up west to Victoria already

The only change in Twitter as far as content since musk came about is that there is no fact checking as long as the conspiracy is right wing, and there is less censorship on racially or sexually driven hate speech.
